Good morning everyone.
@Lynn49 ya, I’m sure it will be an ongoing vaccination. Oh well…… as for your tummy shots……. Nope. I’m not good with needles. I mean if I have to do I will ( I had to give our furbaby his insulin shots twice a day ) I just can’t overthink it too much. Happy but a tad jealous of you going to camp . Have a fantastic time.
I will find the motivation to get going with the laundry but coffee first.

woo hoo! @Lynn49 you got your opening weekend camp wish! ( the water was functioning ) . Hope the drive there was safe and the roads empty-ish.
Not sure if anyone is a Kentucky Derby watcher BUT what a shocker! Even more of a shocker than the last K. Derby winner that was disqualified ( doping ? )
Anyhow...here's a short video.....out of nowhere comes Rich Strike to win!

Shopping was once again a pain. I though everyone would be home for Mother’s Day but apparently all the moms went grocery shopping while dads stayed home with the kids I guess.
On the plus side I got $73.40 in groceries for $3.40 using pc points. No coupons used or found
I did splurge and grabbed a coffee this morning but Dh and I shared it.
Still have to go to the bank and make some deposits and then workout. Hope the sun holds up

You are one busy lady!
It's funny, but when our kids were tots, I used to love grocery shopping. The dinner planning, looking at everything, picking up whatever I wanted for the family and myself, lol...being alone. Even when the kids were both in school I loved it. Pile the groceries into the dark, bring them home put them away and relax and treat myself to my Virginia bar and 2 magazines: Family Circle and Woman's Day, lol. Bliss! Being young like that...priceless!
I still enjoy it when I go with my Hubby. Not driving anymore is a bummer, but it's still fun.
NOT at WM, though! Ugh...we went there, to a newer-ish one here, ridiculous prices, no selection in so many items, all so basic, the only choice area was the produce, everything was exceptional, surprisingly.
Anyhoodles!
We're back from camp with a big list of need to buy, need to bring from home...but it was a beautiful weekend with family and friends.
Have a great week, everyone!

@Lynn49 Dh and I were just saying today about how much I loved grocery shopping. I used to drop him at work and be waiting outside the store by 6:55am with my Starbucks. It was my favourite part of the day. Like you, just walking around when there were more staff than customers. Picking up whatever was on sale(and using coupons) all while sipping my Starbucks. Alas that was all BC (before Covid). Now I dread it. Not only the people but the lack of stock and having to run to multiple places, the prices and then having to wipe it all down before it gets out away (yup, we still wipe down our groceries……people are gross and it skeeves me out). Oh how I long for the ‘good old days’ . Thankfully Dh comes with me so we tag team it and try to get it done quickly.

Omgosh, @harbie ! "Skeeves me out"?!?! That brought back a few adolescent memories! Lol! I haven't heard that expression since then, I think!
I used the expression, "it's the bomb" once and my Daughter laughed so hard.....seems I was dating myself with a 60s slang, lol.
At least I didn't say it was "trippy"...
Yes, those wonderful, carefree years. We didn't know how blessed we were to have grown up when we did.
Of course we did have the best music!
Good morning, everyone!
Nice to be home but I think this is the first season I'm actually missing being at camp. It feels very safe there among so many friends and neighbours. Not that it's not safe here! It is, but.....maybe the word isn't "safe".....maybe it's a comfort to be in a smaller colony?
Enjoy the day, everyone!!
