    ...been traveling around NFLD the past few days...went to St John's and went to East Side Marios, haven't been to one since moving to NFLD-- it was good but the one in Sarnia is better and I had Wendy's, haven't had that in awhile either!! yummo...the best meal was Ches' s Fish and Chips, I had crispy calamari with a spicy mayo sauce and a 2 piece fish with fries, dressing & gravy...delish!! I picked up at a roadside stand fresh carrots, beets & leeks...will probably cook some of the carrots, beets & beet greens this evening ...the leeks I'm saving to make a Leek & Potato soup on the weekend for friends

    ...yesterday ended up cooking a pork roast w/ gravy, baked potato that I peeled and mashed with butter, roasted all the beets so have some for a few days + and roasted carrot & turnip/rutabaga tossed with EVOO & maple syrup, there are leftovers in the fridge...so depending on who's around later I have on hand hot wings, fresh corn that needs to be cooked, ground beef to make burgers on the bbq if not too windy..and touton dough & pizza meat kit & fresh pineapple..so no one should be hungry lol
