    cut up the pumpkin. Made a beef/pumpkin stew, a beef/pumpkin soup and 2 pumpkin/banana loaves, and still tossed a bag of cooked pumpkin into the deep freeze.

    It was 19 here today so very warm for Nov-DH made a rub and grilled salmon on the BBQ for him and DD, along with steamed carrots and paratha. I had scrambled eggs and a mashed potato/rutabaga mix.

    ...I had my surgery on Wednesday and in La La land since..sick, sick, sick,,,but coming around, home in my own bed with great care I think chicken soup is on the menu for this evening

    It is Guy Fawkes day today in the UK so there will be lots of fireworks (he was the guy who tried to blow up parliament). I am making shepherd's pie, very simple. Basically it is mince fried with onions with mashed potatoes/carrots on top with grated cheese & finished off under grill.
