What's For Dinner?

Day 9: Roast dinner with veggies (no pics as I was too busy and I forgot)
Day 10: Fried rice with some of the roast dinner veggies served on a wrap



Day 11: leftover roast with veggies after a super long day at work today!

Newfie dinner .. roast beef ,pork ,turnip,carrots,cabbage potatoes,dumplings, pease pudding, bread onion pudding, pastries and gravy and Diet Pepsi

Have a pot roast in the slow cooker, will have with carrots and roast potatoes.

..I'm cooking a beef roast too...thought I might be going to the cabin so didn't use the slow cooker so in the oven it will go later...not sure what I'll have with it, probably mashed potato, carrots, mashed turnip and green peas, etc

Rigatoni, meatballs with meat sauce, fresh Italian bread and salad.

Crock pot roast seems to be the theme today. We are having crock pot roast as well but when it was done we sliced it up thin and put it back in the broth. Going to be served on buns with potato salad on side and a bit of the juice for dipping

Tonight, quick and simple Nachos, homemade Nacho Meat, Nacho Chips with melted Cheddar and whatever toppings

Day 12 BC FAMILY DAY: So seems like almost everyone's have roast so guess what we had?..... French toast with a strawberry/pineapple/orange compote, and SO Delicious coconut whipped topping as per DH's request.

No roast here, either.
First day of Lent (yes we start earlier), so it had to be meatless. Had fish and chips. I also had a garden salad.

I have a roast in the slow cooker today but that will be for tomorrow nights dinner. (Will serve with mashed potatoes, broccoli and gravy)

Tonight I will cook up a package of bacon. And make pancakes. Leftover bacon will be saved and hidden for Thursday nights dinner of chicken ceaser wraps!

Mom is off today so she will make dinner, I think we are having homemade pizza or that was what she was saying last night
