    Well since we had some of DH's family over for dinner on Saturday (the day before our first open house!!!) and I had to cook for 15 people I made:


    72 appy sized bacon, caramilized shallots and gruyre cheese quiches

    32 Mini meatloafs

    10lb bag of Roasted Garlic Riced Potatoes

    10 cups of Knorr Demi Glace gravy with spices and red wine added

    1 HUGE bowl of salad with homemade spicey pecans, goat cheese rolled in poppyseeds, and strawberries with a raspberry vinegrette

    16 Chocolate/Pumkin cupcakes with a cream cheese frosting

    18 Eggnogg(and rum ) mini cheesecakes

    and a cheese and fruit platter.

    So guess what we are eating all week . Kidding. Tonight will be bbq grilled chicken and salad with the fixin's

    Harbie - that meal sounded AMAZING!!! I was drooling just reading it

    I made Chicken and broccoli alfredo. Chicken was on clearance for $4.50 minus a $2 coupon, broccoli was on sale last week for $1 (only used half) and the pasta was a SCOP, and the sauce was $1.99. So for $4.99 (approx. 62 cents per portion!) that fed us (me and DH) dinner tonight PLUS I have 4 portions already split up for lunches (or freezer, haven't quite decided yet). I LOVE CHEAP DELISH MEALS!
