Tonight my son Chris and daughter in-law Chelsea took me to Denny`s for my birthday, i`m just not used to that sort of thing, but it was sweet of them.

Tonight, homemade chicken noodle soup - I'm going to put lots of chicken bits in it, which I usually don't do (usually make something else with it), and carrots; homemade biscuits, requested by son.

We're going out somewhere....I mentioned to my dh the other day that I was 'so done' with trying to come up with ideas for dinner every day, and it probably has a lot to do with winter still hanging around...but evidently he took the hint! LOL!
Now...where to go.....

I made greek orzo with sundried tomatoes, feta cheese, olives and artichokes and added the leftover lemon rosemary chicken with a side of the loaded salad.

Not sure for tonight but I really want to make those cheese biscuits from Red Lobster. Everyone seems to be drooling over it and I have never tried them. I don't even think I have ever been to a Red Lobster

I know I am a day late on the Shrove Tuesday/Pancake Day thing...but I just wasn't in the mood yesterday.
Today however...we are having the fluffiest, crispiest, bestest, homemade buttermilk pancakes in the universe. (No modesty here folks!) Fried in bacon fat, topped with real butter and a sprinkle of brown sugar. YUM

Tonight is perogies with sauteed onions and mushroom sauce.
