Yesterday was cornflakes-encrusted fried porkchops, smashed potatoes, and corn. My son was ever-so-happy as it's one of his fave meals!

swiss ham and broccoli chowder (omitted the swiss) for a starter...good thing too cause the man and boy were hovering in the kitchen...and a modified version of crock pot cacciatore-style chicken done in the oven (crock pot was otherwise engaged) & corn bread (recipe from Sandra in Oklahoma...hope i haven't wrecked it...keep opening the oven, ack!). i'd love to add that i used up 2 pks of the noodles from HH (mangled boxes from cutting the free veg coupon) to use up the sauce in the chicken dish...seems to have worked well...now to find something to do with the spices pks left over from the HH!
