My mood, right now! Supper may just have to be takeout.

Tonight I am making a crockpot beef roast with onions, potatoes, and carrots. Maybe some homemade gravy if I can make it unlumpy lol.

Oh boy. Such great ideas on here. Having "breakfast for supper" can be so much fun but we don't do it because of the funny looks I get from DH. He thinks Shrove Tuesday and pancakes for supper is absolutely the most absurd thing he's ever heard of. So I only ever do "breakfast for supper" on that one night.
The fish and chips sounds SO good. I think I might be a copy cat tonight."Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken." Oscar Widle

I had my gallbladder removed a long time ago after I had 5 gall stones stuck..Waiting list was like 6 months but doctor didn't want to wait too long. So he scheduled the procedure as the 1 thing he did the day he went on vacation lol. So instead of a 6 month wait was 6 days.

Gee, I hope you are feeling better today....
Am roasting some chicken pieces right now (so evil to have that wonderful smell so early in the morning!). Will cut meat off, add to leftover pasta, add some sauteed veggies and maybe make a sauce of some sort to tie everything together.

The actual cooking for this week coming did not start till 3:00 a.m. but I had to come and sit down around 8:30 a.m.
So far for DD and myself I have made 8 cabbage rolls, 8 stuffed peppers, shrimp fried rice again! ( I used 5 cups of dry rice and loaded it up again with the fresh veg ), ground turkey chili powder style for her wraps. Will get DD to do the wrap fillings (grating, chopping etc.)
Made DH and DS 2 deep dish meat/potato/veg pies (made with the leftover prime rib meat), a sausage/potato casserole, 12 " man size " homemade beef burgers ( hopefully e-coli FREE! lol) and 1 lovely $5.50 chicken from Freshco made a huge pot of soup for us all... with onion, potato, carrot, and cabbage. The guys are getting accustomed to the no salt taste I think.
Still have to saute that bag of cod fillets. I am tired. lol
