Went to the meat store yesterday. They had NY strip loin on bogo, so that was for supper last night. Tonight is bratwurst, homemade hashbrowns, and eggs the chicken thought she would lay! Only one is laying....usually they don't lay eggs during the winter.

Last night was Co-op deluxe rising crust pizzas - like Delissio, but better! However, it was really spicy, so I only could handle a piece and a half. Had to have a PB sammie by midnight.

I'm thinking about veggie burgers for myself. They won't smell offensive and no one will feel sad that they are missing out since veggie burgers tend to be "my thing."
And it's crackers and ginger ale for everyone else around here. *whew* How hard was THAT to cook, eh?
Seriously though. This flu gig is getting old. I am dying for a big fat rich meal of chicken parmesan or something. LOL"Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken." Oscar Widle

I'm recovering from the holiday eating madness, so tonight it's a salad. Cut romaine lettuce topped with red onion, avocado pieces, cold roasted chicken breast, my homemade vinaigrette, and kosher salt with fresh ground black pepper. Gotta keep the sensible food interesting.

My first post here, I made a vegetarian dish. Antipasto Quinoa, it has artichokes, grape tomatoes, green onions, salt and pepper, and I should have added kalamata olives but didn't have any. Very tasty!
