Last night was pizza, mom had texted her back was acting up and she couldn't stand so I was going to make pasta. Just as I walked in the house there was a knock at the door and there was pizza.
Hopefully this weekend I can do some cooking and put in the freezer, mom's back and hips seem to be acting up more and more and since she is home all day well I work it is getting harder to get everything done. I have a great stockpile but some days she can barely make it up and down the stairs so I think it is time to reorganize. Plus the eating take out gets to me first.
Not sure on tonight's dinner yet, waiting to see how she is feeling today.

chicken parmasean & Spaghetti with meat sauce, fresh bread, side salad and ice cream with blue berry preserves.
PS the chicken is left over chicken breasts (lol) but it works, still plowing through "Frugal February".2019 is the year that we continue to save before we buy!!!

well if hubby doesn't take the initiative to do something special today, it will be leftover chickpea & potato curry for him, and maybe pizza ordered in for me and the kids.
usually i make a nice dinner, complete with special drinks and a nice desert. i don't have the car these days, and doing groceries once a week, so no fancy planning at the last minute.

Not sure yet. If I am ambitious I will make home made Chinese food and an apple-rhubarb crisp for desert. My cell phone alarm just went off to remind me to go to gym babies class. I completely forgot. Guess I better hurry up and get going. Class starts in 15min.

Dh ate every piece of food on his plate last night. Guess I should have fed him lunch if I wanted leftovers
So I'm thinking tonight is going to be something on the bbq for sure. Maybe some stuffed pork chops and grilled asparagus, hmmm that sound pretty good! So that's it, tonight's dinner, grilled stuffed pork chops and asparagus spears
We all need a little sunshine every now and then

For dinner last night, hubby cooked a lovely seafood spread with veggies, dd and I took care of the chocolate cupcakes! So that was V-day as a family. Tonight is V-day part 2..fine dining at a restaurant...it's a surprise (there's talk of a blindfold!)...just me and hubby! Getting my hair and makeup done soon...can't wait!

Did GF bread crumbed coated pork loin centre chops, carrot coins, green beans, baked 1 more acorn squash, a whole container of steamed baby spinach and oven baked sweet potato slices.
Two firsts for me, I have never tried the purple skin sweet potato that is white inside AND I have never made oven baked chips before ( ty Janetta and Tank! )...so hard not to eat them as they were for everyone's meals later today/tonight..... I chose to make another veggie soup for moi!
( I saved all the veggie cooking water, added 2 portions of previously bagged and frozen squash and pumpkin, cilantro leaves, onion and a teensy sprinkle of Mrs Dash )
I miss not having my ability to transfer the pics anymore, Grrr, computer challenges.
