The mung beans that I sprouted are ready to eat today.
So I guess I will be cooking some of them for either lunch or supper today. Make a stir fry with chicken breasts, mung beans, bok choy, napa cabbage, green onions (from my garden), carrot(?), roasted garlic (cooked last night), oyster sauce, worcestershire sauce, soya sauce, and corn starch if it needs thickened. I'll serve it with vermicelli rice noodles and a glass of milk. I am looking forward to this, especially since I grew these sprouts myself for the very first time.

Costco's sirloin grilling steak is about $6 a pound as I recall, not much more than 'sale' steak elsewhere, and it's 10x better, awesome.

I am in the mood for a big ole' juicy burger this evening..so think I will throw a couple of patties on the bbq ( I make my own from fresh gb and then freeze between sheets of wax paper) and bacon (cooked right next to it on a piece of tinfoil with the edges folded up) slices of onions grilled, lettuce, tomato, relish, mustard and ketchup all on a toasted bun! Yummo!

Stir fry....day 2 & counting with a very crabby dh who tried to fix the lawn mower & made things worse.
A stir fry is quick & hopefully will make my family happy.
It's been a long day.

Last night was BBQ smokies on amazing bakery buns.
Tonight - have to figure out yet what I'll do with honey garlic marinated chicken thighs. I usually just roast them, but not sure what I've got kicking around for sides.

Its a warm day for cooking, however, I found a large pack of stewing beef in the freezer so I made beef stew so that I can use it up before it really is too warm! I already have it cooked and it turned out REALLY good.
