    Aw, that's so sweet!

    Everyone's meals sound/loook SO yummy!

Last night I baked porkchops in mushroom sauce, along with roasted potatoes and carrots. It had to be easy, two casserole dishes in the oven baking same time, same temp!

Tonight it's just me and my husband, not sure what we'll have yet.

That sounds really good! I am going to have to try that this weekend I think since it's going to be a rainy one!

    Husband's takeout choice - KFC.

Ahem, it's always KFC when it's his choice...

He's tall, thin, muscled. He can eat 10 pieces and fries. Not fair.

Drat his metabolism - wish I could have acquired it when we married, lol!

started out with lean pork steaks (no fat/bone) and corn on the cob and remembered the propane ran out yesterday evening so I wasn't sure what I was going to make. So I chunked up the pork and cooked in a fry pan, removed and got rid of the grease, then added chopped onion, garlic, mushrooms, yellow bell pepper and cooked it down. Then added a bottle of Classico Alfredo sauce, added 1/2 pk fresh baby spinach, let that wilt and then added about a cup of chopped cherry tomatoes, cut the corn of the cob and added that and off course, salt, pepper & basil. Let that all simmer and then added some cooked barilla penne pasta (lord, I have so much of that stuff!!ha ha) and let the pasta cook for a few mins in the sauce and then added parm. cheese. It was really, really good!
