baked salmon fillet with potato salad and mixed veggies. If I get home at a decent hour tonight and feel like it, I will make apple crisp since I got a monster bag of apples that have some soft spots starting for .99 at no frills!

My grill is fixed and I bought some chicken drumsticks today, so looks like grilled chicken! I have a little herb garden, I'm thinking I'm going to marinate the chicken in some olive oil, maybe rosemary and thyme, a splash of vinegar and then grill.
BTW, for those who read last week that my grill was leaking gas, we found the problem. The side burner (which I never use) was turned on! THAT'S why I was smelling gas and I could not find the leak!

I grilled my chicken, didn't find my herbs made much flavour but they were still good. Also cooked a bunch of mushrooms and a videlia onion in a grilling wok I got at Canadian Tire awhile back on sale for $5, wish I'd gotten two, it's great! We used it camping too, over an open fire, also worked very well. After the veggies were done, took them out and put boiled potatoes in the wok, squashed them a bit, sprayed with olive oil and sprinkled salt and pepper, put cheese in toward the end. Yummy!

Last night we had KFC - yay for having the Colonel's Club card for deals!
Bummer, though, we wanted to try the new waffle fries, but they were 'out' of them til Wednesday - seems so silly.

Tonight was spaghetti and meatballs. I had the meatballs cooked and frozen, just had to cook pasta and heat up jarred sauce with the meatballs. It's hell hot here, not turning on the oven. Thanking God for our living room air conditioner that we bought last year, and the one for our bedroom we bought about a week ago. We found the last one in the city I think on the bedroom one, paid more than we wanted to, but I doubt very much anyone would be sleeping in this house tonight if we didn't have them. DS is currently snoozing in our bed, we'll move him to a memory foam pad on the floor with fleece sheets and pillows when we go to bed.
