Chicken in Mushroom Soup over Rice, comforting warm food since I have been cold pretty much all day.

we had a great picnic...it was a little cool and windy but nothing a couple of tarps couldn't handle...we had a newfie jiggs dinner. all the meats were already baked and gravy ready just to re-heat and all the veggies were cooked/boiled on a coleman - what a feast!! most likely our last picnic for this year...

Tonight I made stuffed chicken breast with ham and cheese, rice and Greek salad. It was so good. It is a toss up from the pizza I made yesterday.

I made 2 salads for supper for dh and I tonight. Lots of leftovers for my lunch tomorrow. My salad had a lot of beet leaves in it from my fall harvest of the garden. Dh absolutely hates beets. The rest of the ingredients in our salads are the same: swisschard, romaine lettuce, yellow tomatoes, celery, radishes, baked chicken breasts, dried cranberries, and pecans. I have drop biscuits in the oven right now to go with it. I'll also have it with a glass of milk. LO ate a large radish while I was preparing the salad.

second verse same as the first.

everyone else had pasta and cheese tonight so I nuked up a plate of these leftovers since I have gone gluten free and don't eat the stuff anymore.

KelJo - what a wonderful photo!

Everyone's meals for the last few days sound so yummy!

We're having homemade chicken soup. I made the broth this morning, separated the chicken meat out once it was cool - that will be used for another meal. Husband eats the skin and gunky stuff off the bones, so he usually has that after soup. Soup is enough for me for supper.

oh no!! KelJo I hope your back spasm leaves ASAP! Mine took over a full week, just finally on the mend. Fingers crossed for you.

My lunch which was really my dinner, it was leftovers of ribs, carrots, peas, broccoli and a quinoa mixture. Time to start thinking about meal prep for the guys again, not much there now.

Thank you!! Feeling a little better today!! The little houses didn't seem to help much but the pain pills are working.

Dinner won't be anything fancy today...I have leftover lasagna in the freezer so will have some of that for sure!

Son is coming for supper - I'm making chicken stew, which will have onions, mushrooms, carrots, peas, green beans, and corn in it; served over mashed potatoes. Will make salad to have before. Choice of pickled beets or pickles to have with main.
