I got mine on my ankle (on the bone) didnt even twitch (supposeable one of the worse spots to get it).

I just got an email back from the liasson at school. Sent off an email about a week ago asking which course I should opted out of. She sent back a messege telling me to go in for an appointment. She thinks I should drive 2 hours (oe way) for a 5 minute meeting on which courses I should opted out of.

I love it too! Her name is actually going to be "Runesong", but we are going to call her Rune. Now we have to agree on a middle name, which is easier said that done, we've been disagreeing on a first for at least 3 months. He was desperate to convince me to name her "Arcane" but I didn't think that would do well for her in real life, so to speak

Ok so this whole baby name thing has brought up a new topic for us all...anyone know the meanings behind their name or why their parents chose it?

First of all Amy, your kids names are awesome. I love them!
My name is Michelle, and simply enough, my Mom named me after that song "Michelle" by the Beatles. I really like my name, despite how in every school class I was ever in there were at least 2 other girls named Michelle.

My oldest is "Winter Valkyrie".. husband chose the name Winter, and we gave her the name Valkyrie because she had a hard fight when she was born, and Valkyries are the Warrior Maidens of mythology.

Youngest is "Monet Lillian" .. husband also chose the name Monet, and I absolutely loved it immediately. Lillian is after my grandmother, who passed away a few years ago.

New baby will be "Runesong" (no middle name yet, eek!) but we are going to call her Rune. Husband chose this one too... what can I say, he is just really good at thinking of names

Depending on the last name Lyric would be super cool of a name. I always consider the full picture of it, last names matter

Lyric was #1 on my list! But I liked Rune just the tiniest bit better than that, and he loved it so much that I just couldn't fight him on it

ok another question about filling out applications...what does it mean when asks for professional references? I dont even remeber what to put for references are they people you know or people you worked with?

I havent had a job since 2000...I dont even remember what I got paid at my old jobs, so just putting min wage at time ...feel lost..lol


on another note for my tattoo its either my arm or side of calf..any one have one on their calf..did it hurt its gonna be all black and grey..have one on arm and was fine but this is bigger so wonder ing how bad the leg will hurt

You can put me as a reference if you want! LOL I would attach a letter to all your applications stating your situation, so that people understand that your professional references as well as job references are going to be either outdated, or tough to contact. Most managers/companies understand when you have been out of the workforce for a while.

I'm excited to see your tattoo! I don't have one on my calf, but the one on my ankle hurt like a b**ch! And I have a huge pain tolerance. It just kept hitting the bone or something, it was awful. The one in the inside of my wrist hurt a bit, but not too bad.. though it swelled up something crazy afterwards. The ones on my back were the easiest, I fell asleep during those.

I have had a simply lovely day, this pregnancy has given me no desire at all most of the time to eat which I think is a good thing, I am getting my supplements in and if I lose weight good for me. But hubby is driving me nuts and insists I keep eating, thankfully he is not home to drive me nuts but half of my battle is not having energy to prepare the damn food for myself. I have to cook for the kids and I do but they are content with grilled cheese or chicken fingers but I won't eat that anyways (I don't eat chicken) so I dunno what to do. He has called me like 5 times today, what have you eaten? Geez...I guess it is good he cares but man annoying

So I was going down to the basement today with some laundry in my hands to start up a load. There was something on the stairs which I didn't see, I tripped on it and fell down the stairs. I am fine, landed on my butt/back but somehow hit my right elbow really hard on the floor (the stairs are wood) and it hurts like a mofo ... I know its gonna bruise nicely, and it hurts to even pick things up. I doubt it is broken or anything but wow it hurts soo much.
And did I mention to you guys I have been babysitting my nephew for the summer? He is 8 yrs old, not so bad but sometimes they all get worked out and I swear the last hr or two they are all ready to kill each other for some reason. He was supposed to be in summer camp during the summer as my sister and her hubby work but since the Toronto strike is still going on, his camp was cancelled and my parents are in Jordan so no choice. I do not mind it, but man is it ever tiring sometimes....sigh needed to let all that out

Oh AMY! Thank God you weren't hurt too badly. I fell down our basement steps when I was pregnant with Monet and spent a week terrified of what I'd done. You might want to get that elbow checked out.. sometimes you can chip a bone and not even know it, till it starts swelling up and getting bad.
Hubby bothers me about eating all the time, I haven't eaten more than 3 bites of anything in the past few days, though thats mostly because there's no room left in there. lol. He even has the kids bothering me about eating when I feed them! its a mutiny.

Ok back from tattoo..will post pics yet just got home. It felt fine didnt hurt at all and looks awesome I love it later I will be going back to add a column for her to sit on and a whole night time scene. Changed the hair and tail but I love it, got to ask dh if can take wrap off so can take a pic. So as soon as got one will post

"a promise" but so far i'm not doing very good at keeping my promise to get these damn g/cs out..wth is boo? i can't IM him, windows live is all fooked up, he ignores pms, and he won't reply to my email.

Worked last night and got the weeks worth of scoop LOL

The labour board showed up last week when I was off oh and shat hit the fan.

I couldnt stop laughing th whole shift thinking about it.

I get tonight off Supposeable Im working way too many hours and its aginst my rights and the law. So they have been forced to give me more days off HA. They also have till the 15th to pay us all or their in trouble

Anyways off to bed. Have to work at CP this morning.

The meaning of my name? I have no idea. My parents picked my name just because they liked it (Jacqueline). Let me tell ya, though .... I hate writing it out all the time!! I don't like being called any shortform of my name, so kids have trouble saying it. It's going to be a pain in the bottom when my last name gets changed (eventually) because the last name (Gonnermann) is just as long as my first name.

That's why Tyler has such a short name. He has no middle name (just like his dad). We picked his name because we liked it. Same with this baby. I have always loved the name Meghan, so I insisted (turns out he really likes it too ), and it's relatively short. Her middle name is going to be Elaine (after my grandmother). We actually picked it that way so the short form of her name is her initials (MEG). I thought it was pretty neat.

Amy - you need to be careful. You can at least still see your feet (can't you?) and you're falling down the stairs. I'm very clumsy as well, but luckily this pregnancy all I've done is knock over glass after glass of water.

Haunish - can't wait to see pictures!! And I know what you mean about references. The places I worked at before don't exist anymore One does, but the plant manager will not talk to me. So I've put "References available upon request" and then I have a letter stating my situation that I would take to interviews with me (if I ever get one).

Anyways, hope everyone has a great day. I still have a little bit of work to do in the basement today before MIL gets here tomorrow. Not much, but enough that I'm not looking forward to doing the work.
