Baby back ribs, potatoes, salad. Going to enjoy having 'real' ribs, instead of our usual cheapie kind (we had a gift cert. from a butcher so bought the awesome ribs!).

I have the same thing with wording - but it's different than yours, too. Lunch is at noon, and supper is around 6 p.m. Snacks are snacks.
When I think of the evening meal as 'dinner', I feel we should be 'dining', as in 'fine dining', lol!
But I have heard before - breakfast, dinner, supper.

Sure. It's not an exact recipe. I just wing it
Peel and chop 6 large russet potatos
Dice 1 small onion
Crush 4 garlic cloves
Salt/Pepper/Red Pepper Flakes to taste
Chicken or Veg Stock ( about 4-6 cups).
Chuck it all into the slowcooker and cook for about 8 hours or until fork tender. When the taters are cooked you can either leave it chunky(when I do this I leave the tater skins on) you add 1- block of cream cheese and a bit of sour cream. Heat another 30min or until completely melted. If you want you can puree it with a hand blender or leave it chunky.
Top with crumbled bacon, onions, cheese and serve with toasted chees bread(use whatever cheese and bread you want )
That's it! Oh ya, then go to the gym and work out hard for an hour to burn it offLast edited by harbie; Mon, Jan 25th, 2010 at 06:07 PM. Reason: forgot something :0
