I finally got around to seeing a specialist yesterday regarding pain i`ve been having for the past year. We`ve arranged a date in June for surgery to look for and cauterize what may be causing the pain. Until then I have to take medication, which I`m out of and my doctor's phone line had been busy for literally 2 days. Sigh

Went to use 3 coupons that I thought were expiring today, but the cashier pointing out the tiny small print says they expired last month.
Thanks save.ca for putting 2 expiry dates on your $2 Gaylea coupons! I would have used them last month but they had "Expires April 30" in big bold red print. Was saving them for DS's party this weekend for sour cream for dip. Grrrrr!
Note to self read all the fine print!

im ranting because i finally hit a proverbial road block. i just dont know what to do anymore. life is so stressful right now and i feel myself rapidly disintegrating emotionally. so drained.
im sure others have felt this way. listless, simply going through the motions on a daily basis. something positive needs to happen soon because i dont like feeling this down. im not used to it as im usually very happy. sigh.Feel free to use my shop.ca referral link! Annoyed with Wind Mobile. I've been with them since 2010 and while they no longer offer my plan, they had grandfathered me in. Received a text message this week that they were "upgrading" my plan to unlimited minutes & texting for extra $5/month. Generally speaking, it's a good deal...but I don't need it! My current plan is more than enough for me so this feels like I am just paying an extra $60/year for something I won't use.
Went online to look into their pay-as-you-go plan only to find that they nixed that in early April...yet they only informed me of my account change at the end of April. Checked other phone carriers and pay-as-you-go seems to be phasing out in favour of smartphones + data plans. Boo-urns.

I'm so sick of trying to sell stuff on facebook. People say they'll pick it up, but don't show up! Or don't bother to respond to my messages. One girl was supposed to come tonight, I said I'd be available between 545 and 9 and asked if she would please tell me around when she'd be coming, and she didn't bother showing up, or answering my message in any way.
Another girl was supposed to pick something up FRIDAY and didn't show up and ignored all of my messages!
Then another girl who was supposed to set up a meeting with me for last sunday (even though my stuff is pick-up only!) didn't bother messaging me back at ALL until tuesday, saying she 'had class'. On sunday? Yeah no. Then I offered to make another meetup with her but she's ignored that too.
I'm so done with wasting my time on people. I had other things I could have been doing. UGH.

Why can't some people be more careful when writing my address on their trade envelope?
How hard is it to make sure your writing is legible and you have the correct address written? Sometimes I receive envelopes that I'm honestly shocked even made it to my mailbox. Someone wrote a completely wrong city for me on the envelope and in completely horrendous writing. I mean, why not take the extra few seconds to double check to save everyone the potential headache of a lost envelope? Thankfully everyone on SC is great. But on Facebook, its a whole other story.

DS woke up with a rash all over his torso. Went to take a shower and I have the same rash. We're both a little itchy but nothing major. Decided to get into the doctors just in case, so I spent all morning at the doctors just to find out its a severe allergic reaction to something. Huh? Doctor says she's seen 4-5 cases already from people who are spending a lot of time outdoors. Not much can be done, just Benadryl and hydrocortisone cream and it'll go away on its own.
Been waiting for spring for what seems like forever, now we can't even fully enjoy it!

Canada post is getting so annoying!
I sent out a trade on Monday, it got returned to me yesterday because it took my address from the back rather then the front.
THEN, today I get back mail that I RTS'd even WITH my address scratched out. That's the second time and it's from the same company too who keeps mailing me crap.

Self Absorbed People.
My SIL is getting married and apparently thinks it's the most important thing in the world. It's not enough she's driving everyone CRAZY but she's making everyone dread the event. The rules are getting ridiculous!
I *stupidily* said both my kids would be in it. I am sadly regretting it. She is making DD wear a floor length dress with crinoline at the end of July. It costs over $100. And she wants her hair down (which DD hates). She's going to be MISERABLE and there's very little chance I can keep her looking "her best" for long.
DS is a ring bearer (or something along those lines - all 4 nephews are the same thing). His outfit is almost $100 also and again it'll be hot and he's a boy who loves to get dirty!
DH was just informed (not asked) by email that he is to be an usher. He was sent 5 different emails with all the rules of being an usher (seriously I expect her to test them, it's beyond formal) and she expects him there at 9am (the wedding is at 1pm).
So now I have to get myself ready and get both kids ready by myself. Nice. Ok annoying but do-able.
Oh and the wedding is at a church on an ISLAND so we have to take a FERRY. The reception is on the main land so somehow she expects 300 guests to get back to the mainland within an hour or so. Her response when I questioned her was that I should just walk onto the ferry and walk to the Church to ensure we get there (15+ minute walk with 2 small kids). WTF? NOT HAPPENING.
So I'm annoyed at all that but this is what I really have a problem with:
-She totally ignored my invite to DH's (her brother's) birthday BBQ last night. Didn't even bother to call him. The rest of his family either came or called. Not her.
-She ignored my invite to DS's birthday party this weekend. I texted her today to call her on it and she said she got the invite but was "too busy with wedding planning and forgot to respond" and that she won't be attending.
-She also ignored my invite to DD's birthday party last December.
Funny how they are "so important to you, they need to be in the wedding" but not important enough for you to share THEIR SPECIAL DAYS. You can't attend my son's birthday on Saturday? Guess I can't attend your wedding shower the following weekend.
I might add that she never attended our wedding -it was a destination wedding and she said she didn't have the money, which was understandable but she didn't attend the after party (held a reception at home) or even the shower. She also didn't attend our baby shower.
I'm so annoyed at her behaviour. It's rude, self absorbed and inconsiderate.
Whew! Rant Over! I kind of almost feel better just typing it out. lol
