Dont worry about other peoples curiousity when it comes to babies. When it comes to your mom or your dad just tell them that it will happen when the time is right. I noticed with people TRYING desperately to get pregnant that they try and they try and theres so much pressure it doesnt happen...they give up theres no pressure and bam someones pregnant. I've had friends who did IVF had twins were told that was the only conception that would ever happen for them...11 months after the twins were born they were announcing an unplanned NATURAL pregnancy.
I get asked all the time when i'm going to have kids. I cant it will kill me. On top of that BF has had a vasectomy because he didnt want more than his two boys when his youngest was born he had it done. Expecting him to have it reversed on the off chance we could conceive and the risks involved for myself would be crazy. He has agreed we can consider adopting though because he does know how i feel.
It hurts when people ask because I havent known for long i cant (a couple years) and its hard to accept. It isnt general knowledge..in fact my mom, sisters, one cousin and my bf and his mom have been told. I dont want others to feel sorry for me but having our immediate family know made the questions stop. My grandma doesnt know but that is because...she would tell everyone in the extended family.
That is rather rude of your mom! plus (looking at your profile) you are only 30 and that is not an old maid! I didn't live with my bf until i turned 30...we met 2 years prior but it was a long distance relationship for that time. It definitely took some adjusting to living with others...esp sharing a room/bed becuase it feels like youre never truly alone.
I hope date night was fun!!
Nancy - happy birthday a few days late!

I just finished baking 18 banana zucchini chocolate chip muffins. I also made a pan of peanut marshmallow squares, it's somewhat hard to believe that I have never made them before. I need to wake LO soon and take him with me back to the Showcase, where dh is. We've agreed to buy him this cool remote control car that does tricks, etc. at the show for $40. It will be his main Christmas present. I already have a set of plastic bowling balls that I won for him, it will also be for Christmas.
We aren't big spenders with many things and I have thought about the car since LO was introduced to it on Friday.

Yesterday BF took the boys and they went to his Ex's place - she and the boys loaded the back of the truck for a dump run. He figured using his truck was fair trade for a hair cut. While they were gone i pulled the peas, swiss chard and dead plants from the garden and plant pots. Took them in the wheel burrow to the compost heap.
I cleared the camp chairs and summer stuff off the deck into the camper and shed. Dug the carrots and the lilly bubls (bf wants to work up the front gardent but we want to keep the lillies to replant as well as get 2 bleeding hearts.)
After they got back bf and i winterized the camper and dumped the poop at the poop dump station. I finished working on a computer. BF thinks i dont charge enough however My opinion is I dont have overheard atm...and im still relatively new to town that im charging a lesser few so people are willing to try out my services (yes i have 12 yrs experience) and recommend me to others. I'm content with an extra 200 dollars a month or so on top of my regular pay.
I did some laundry, scooped the dog poop and threw some expired stuff out in the bathroom.
We went out in the evening to the pub - I was Designated driver so all my drinks were free. But we were out til 2 am so we slept in today to 11 (was nice) and have generally had a lazy day today. I did some bedding in the laundry and tidied the kitchen. Made my poor pup a cone head for a couple hours and am thinking of making some banana bread.
I also consildated some of my Medi honey from one leaky tube and a good tube to one tube total. SOOO easy to transfer as the squirt end fits nicely into the tube opening...you just heat the honey with warm water and it runs right into the other tube.
I've ordered a few more xmas gifts - 52 week savings challenge has nicely funded christmas again for a 2nd year. As they come over the next few weeks im going to start wrapping and tagging things because i can get to the chrsitmas bins now without snow. The PJS for christmas eve (my family tradition) were ordered yesterday from old navy.

We cut our cable to basic last month and they is nothing on so we are thinking of going cold turkey. I am not sure I am ready for that frugal leap
