    Did not really want to post here, but it is official. Our sweety pie Rufus has been diagnosed with cancer. Dropped down from 13.5 lbs in Jan to 10.6 lbs. today. Surgery is not an option because he's too frail to have any sedation.
    We are giving him 2 newly prescribed meds atm, something that coats the inside of his tummy ( internal bleeding is going on in there they said ) and I forget what the 1/4 tablet one does. I am kinda numb.
    I am always baffled that a dose is 1/4 of a tablet and the pill is the size of a small craft bead. Trying to cut them in 4 is always good for the BP.

    Anyhow....as long as he seems to be happy-ish, if his tail continues to wag when dad gets in the door from work and he eats a little cooked chicken everyday and snuggles with us, we'll stave off making that dreaded appt. to say goodbye to him.

    Hoping everyone finds their own survival mode during these extreme and unprecedented conditions. Really gives individuals time to reflect though doesn't it? Removing distractions society leans on to escape, whether it's sports, fashion, film, music, art....stop them from attending school and work. Remove their source of income and boy....watch them all run to the grocery stores to buy that goddam TP!!
