@Lynn49 - yes
Well, new a/c unit is in but it's having a difficult time catching up. When the technician turned it on for the first time, the thermostat showed 32 degrees. A new record for our house. It has dropped 2 degrees in 3 hours though. Baby steps. I guess once it's caught up, maintaining the temperature will be easier

@GoJays
Hurrah on the new AC! It gets close to 30 here, with medium humidity, so it's bearable for now as long as all the cool sir is for ME!
Had physiotherapist come yesterday aft. Good as she saw me at not my best, then we could modify things to suit me. New back and posture exercises for me.
This morning, had to be awoken by my husband because the nurse was here around 10. She redid bandages, the old ones are staying clear, the cut on my left knee has not yet closed - that has been two weeks, blister on the baby for which stayed home is not ready to come off, so it got rebandaged.
Now about me sleeping in.... I think I went to sleep about 7:30 this morning after having a horrid evening and night. Unfortunately it kept my husband awake as well.
Not sleeping much and being in lots of pain suck.
Both the physio and nurse talked with me about nutrition this week, musta been in my chart. I lost your pounds the past week.
Hope all of you are doing well!Last edited by Natalka; Tue, Jul 7th, 2020 at 08:55 PM.

Good morning gang! @danger_dan nice score on the free firewood!
@GoJays go figure eh? A/C system didn't want to shock you all at once, hopefully the temps are more acceptable this morning?
@flemeth how are things with your relatives in the USA? Hope they are safe and healthy.
Are they as concerned as some of us are with the virus? The images of some citizens in certain States disregarding Health Official recommendations is unreal, but we've got just as many yahoos here I'm sure.
I've only been to Myrtle Beach once ages ago but Lordy!! I cannot imagine how i would have reacted seeing this when I was there.

Good morning!
It's pretty quiet around here, I sewed a couple of those "shaped" masks yesterday for Hubby and I...a black one for him, a denim looking fabric for me. They're so much comfier than the folded ones. However, I'll have to go to Fabricland later to pick up 1/4" black and more white elastic.
DD bought a box of 50 at CT in prep for when we're really mandated to cover up, although we all have masks we wear now.
So....will or will the Edmonton Eskimos change their name!
What a world!!
Enjoy your sunny days! We had a deluge yesterday after I watered our gardens.

So true, @GoJays , "first world problem". We just have to hope the power grid doesn't break down.

Good very early morning!
This is far too early to be up, but I feel quite rested. Could be that Lebron James' reading to me on Calm last night gave me a good night's sleep.
I'm about to listen to part 3 of his inspiring messages.
I hope we're all in for another sunny day!
Stay safe, everyone, enjoy your day!
