Oww! Groan!
I will be taking the trip to Niagara solo as everyone is busy with "Family " stuff! So I am gathering up all my documents and also Valentine's day stuff to mail down to Colorado.
Got side-tracked with filing while trying to find my marriage certificate. So much paper
It's sunny here but mighty cold! (I'm being a wussy when you consider what the temperatures HAVE been. )
I will stop off at the liquor store to get some more boxes, on the way home again after I take Tootie over to the Dog Whisperer.
Come to think of it, I should get the other boxes out of the car.
Take care, everyone!

more chickens are roasting in my oven!
I bought 4 today at FB. They were all under $6.00 a piece. Two were " normal ", but the other 2 were " la dee da " fancy grain fed, air chilled, massaged daily??, lets say pampered birds that were marked down 40% off for quickie sale. ( those are the 2 that are in the oven now )
Poor Auston couldn't score even one goal in his home town last night. The Leafs lackluster performance is always so puzzling when they play teams they SHOULD easily beat! Oh well......at least with my head down for most of that game I got plenty of my cross stitching done.
Have a wonderful Sunday all!

Good morning, which it still is here.
Waiting impatiently for a basin of water and towel so I can wash up.
Had a shower yesterday - a nurse did it and realized how much I reveled in the water, was kind to me and took lots of time.
Husband came late last evening to see me and bring me drinks and other goodies. Had a good cry, just needed his shoulder yesterday.
There will be a big meeting midweek about me - with me and him, doc, nurses, therapists, and the hospital home coordinator, to talk about what will happen with me. Suggestions run from going home home, to going to a nursing home, the thought of the later makes me cry even just typing it out...
Have a super Sunday!

Ah, @natalia as a big old football player once sang on a children's album I had "It's alright to cry! Cryin' takes the sad out of you. It's alright to cry. It'll make you FEEL better!" Especially with a loving shoulder to lean on.
It would really help if the home you were going to was a bigger and more appropriate residence for you and your husband. I hope that someone who supports you on that team is working diligently on that.
Also, if you need to go into a nursing home for now, think of it as a "respite." Remember, your home doesn't have all the lifts and equipment that you currently need until you get stronger. I'm seeing that you are a crucial part of that meeting. Don't forget to speak up for chat you want. Perhaps you could ask if the options could include an extended stay where you are.
Just my 2 cents.
Got to get ready for my trip tomorrow. Will chat later.
