I'm running out of shopping options @Lynn49 . I hate walmart and I also don't want to give amazon any money either unless absolutely necessary. I don't feel that jeff bezos needs any more money. Perhaps once he decides to give back to his employees and indigent people, then I'll reconsider. He's worth $200 billion, what does he think he's accomplishing by not giving back? And walmart? Walmart is just an asshole company.

@GoJays Wish I had your convictions ( wrt to amazon ) but options are few and far between for Christmas shopping for us too
( I'm trying not to go out to actual stores other than for groceries or gas ) Good luck!!

@GoJays do you hate how corporate they are or it’s just crazy, busy, too big etc? I do Walmart grocery pickup. My aunt will give me a ride when I need to do my pickup. I would like to try instacart. The fees aren’t bad but it’s giving a large tip I can’t afford. Not that the shopper doesn’t deserve it but I just can’t afford 15% plus on a $150 to $200 order.

Lord Sacks used to talk on BBC Radio 4's Though For The Day. He was an interesting speaker and often left me with a new viewpoint to digest . May his memory be a blessing.

I am so angry with myself as I forgot to tape Biden's speech. I had a friend over who absolutely will not listen to any American Politics and I forgot to st to record. I suppose it will be widely available, though.

Penguinette 1 graduated from CEGAP and is now at McGill

Penguinette 2 graduated High School and is now at CEGAP

LilP is in Sec 4 (Grade 10)

We are doing good.
