That is like my house. I have an old yellow Lab that sheds so badly.
Him, and my new puppy, are not “adjusting well to each other”.
Never again. I feel like a new mom again... I felt like I surpassed that “bra burning” concept from the ‘60s when I took lighter fluid to my kids washable diapers 10 years ago.

LOLOL!! OMGosh!! I never burned my bra in the 60s....wasn't exactly a hippie-type!! But you had me at "lighter fluid" to your kids' washable diapers!
My neighbours bought me several months of a diaper service when we had our first in '75 which was fine, but then cam disposables when that was over with! Heaven!!
I'm so sad that your older lab isn't adjusting to your pup...how old is he? Sometimes it might take time for them to figure it all out...I know our DD was concerned when they brought home 2 Siamese kittens with an older cat in the house. It took a while to figure out their pecking order, but they're fine now. Your older dog needs to know that he's the alpha dog...he goes out first, gets fed first, etc. That may help in sorting things out.
We have a Doxie, our 3rd dog in our 50 years together...my last baby...

Currently 16 here, may go up as high as 18. End of the week is promising three days of 20 degree days. I'll take it!

On this day of days, this is all any of us needs.
Borrowed this from YT video description:
So this huge gorilla at the Miami Zoo tells a guy in sign language that he can't be fed.
The guy throws a piece of orange and he slyly catches it and looks to see if the trainer is looking, check this out...
