Hi, hope you all had a great day!
Mine was okay, same owies, except my BP is 90/70, so I had to be extra careful today.

Oy! @danger_dan good luck with the rest of the week.
@Lynn49 - I agree- I don't like nutcrackers either.
Well. Tootie got her first taste of wearing boots this morning as they have put salt down outside.
Did I share that the vet is very pleased with her adaptation to her new meds. He said that they are very effective in helping dogs. No need to keep seeing him monthly if she is doing ok. I could have cried!
Still switching over to Christmas mode. Everything is getting a good clean along the way.
Although, my back was killing me last night.
I will take it a bit more slowly today.

See ya later!

@avoncallingu that’s great new about Tootie. I wish my Thor like to wear boots if I am to put anything on his paws he is upset and ready to get it off so there would be no walking

great news wrt Tootie @avoncallingu
I can imagine the deep exhale of relief you experienced when the vet gave you that uplifting health report.
Go Tootie Go!!!
I am having back and forth feelings about decorating for Christmas this year. One day I am gung ho to drag it all out, but unless I act on that impulse immediately the motivation disappears.
Then other days I dig my feet in ( stubborn ) and declare to the voices in my head that I 'm not putting anything up, no big tree, none of my many stuffed mascots, not even Olaf ( my inflatable for outside ) .
I looked at 2 sarcastic tree ornaments online that expressed how I feel about 2020 and they both involved toilet paper!
Maybe a coffee will change my sour mood back again. There was a dusting of snow on the path and out back last night, all gone now.

Tsk, tsk, tsk, @walkonby....what is ailing you, Hon??
It's the most wonderful time of the year!!
However, I'm not bringing everything we own out this year, either. We love our tree, there are some fun things on the floor, a standing wooden santa all dressed up that a crafter here made, others like that, my tall poinsettia candle holders, and my village (holding off until we feel it's safe for our GS to put up), and my deer forest in the front window, tablecloths, pillows, etc in the main areas of the house. I always change up pictures into Christmas ones, so the bathroom, lol....the long wooden sign with all the names of the reindeer in the dining-room (did you know Comet is Santa's favourite one?)...Anyway, I get that it's not as exciting as in years past, but I do it for our GS, the kids because it's expected of me to over-do Christmas..hahaha! And believe me, I love over-doing it! But this year...it'll be a little less but still pretty...only red, white and silver allowed, like our tree.
@avoncallingu, what absolutely fantastic news about Tootie! Every time you post about her being ill it just breaks my heart, she's just the sweetest wee soul....you'll both have a wonderful Christmas now!!!
@danger_dan , I hope you get everything sorted out at work, it's certainly no fun with things go sideways.
Hubby and I are taking a break from wrapping, we've been at it for a few hours, still more to go, then the huge one for our DD...not sure what we'll do with the huge one for our SIL, hahaha!! The others should be fine to stick under the tree.
Take care, everyone!!

Hi friends! Just got word that my BrotherB has finally published a children's book that he has been thinking about writing for about 20 years. I guess Covid gave him time to put it together. When he was a kid my parents spent the summers at a trailor park on Lake Erie. One of their neighbours was "Boomer" . He happened to have played on a Black Baseball team out of the Chatham area that won the Black League championship. This is a children's book about their story. I will post the link tomorrow. Perfect Christmas gift for a young person who enjoys baseball.(AND I can get you a signed copy!)
Remember- Fergie Jenkins grew up in Chatham, too!
Pretty excited for my "Baby" brother!
How many copies would you like?
Will chat tomorrow.
