A lovely quiet day here for all of us. ( so far )
I've not not even gone out onto the back deck or front path today.....just lounged in front of the tv after rising from bed. Brewed a coffee first though, I am not an animal!
@GoJays I love when we've resisted getting gouged on an item ( in your case that plant ) and then it turns up unexpectedly at a much discounted price! A win/win!! Congrats and enjoy.

Are they tomatillos, @avoncallingu ? They're not really tomatoes, and can be quite acidic when eaten raw...best cooked or thinly sliced in a salad. Personally, I'm not a fan, but for free? I'd use 'em!

That's a beautiful plant, @GoJays! I too love varigated plants. Is it an indoor or outdoor plant?

If I lived in Thailand or Costa Rica, then it would definitely be an outdoor plant
But as it stands, I live in Ontario, so it is only temporarily an outdoor plant.
It comes in before the temperatures drop below 15-ish degrees

Good day, all!

Yesterday, I had a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day - and that was physically.

We did get the news yesterday morning that my husband's Mom had passed away. She was old and had some health challenges, but we will probably hear more soon.

@Natalka my sympathies on the passing of your MIL. What a lovely smile she had!! Nice photos of her.
Did anyone catch that entertaining comeback the Raptor's made tonight?? woo hoo!! They were down by 16 at one point.
Playing catch up in every quarter right until THEY won!! ha ha
Too bad the Blue Jays did not get that memo .....they blew another one in the 10th inning after bravely saving face by tying it up. They were down 8-0 at one point.
See what I've been reduced to watching since the Leafs are gone??
