Thank you for the well wishes unfortunately my body didn't get the memo and so I am still worse for wear. However it too shall pass.
I am going to veg for the rest of the day.
Happy New Year @Natalka to you and your family. I am still hoping and praying that you feel better soon!
My rant for the day is that Lucky Elephant popcorn is no longer original recipe of pink tasting popcorn. Rather they have added gloss to it! (Presumably to make it last eons). Thank you for your kind attention to this matter.
Have a great evening everyone!Always remember the What are you thankful for today? thread as there always is something to be thankful for.

H&M stores are closing all over the place but we're getting one here in our mall?
Go figure.
It'll be nice for the gazillion students that descend on us every school year, though.
Absolutely gorgeous amaryllis, @WALK ing, I've never had much luck with them nor poinsettias.
They dont have a scent at all, right? I'll soon be craving the scent of hyacinths! 🤗
Soon. Or...now, actually. Or my beautiful stargazer lillies! Honestly, more than 1 in a room is overpowering!
@walkonby . Can't seem to correct it up there.Last edited by Lynn49; Thu, Jan 14th, 2021 at 04:11 PM.

yes! That was what was happening to us when we planted these around the middle of December. They had been in a plastic bag just hanging in a back room when DH noticed all these long green leaves spilling out of the bag.
After planting those leaves/stalks just kept getting taller but with no visible flower buds.
Quite exciting to eventually see the flower pods form and out they came.
We are waiting for 3 a.m. to come so we can watch the premiere of WandaVision on Disney+ .....more exciting than our Amaryllis!

Three of you beat me in today! How was Wanda Vision @walkonby ? It's replacing Friday night Mandalorian dinner for us. I finished Stranger Things last night and started Ozark. I won't get through it before I have to hand Netflix back in early next week. Heck yeah I'm only watching for free

Good " normal hour " morning @GoJays
Well! let me say I had NO idea what Wanda Vision was....period! But I LOVE IT!!!
They only released 2 episodes, so now I'll be chomping at the bit waiting for each new episode, as with Mandalorian.
DS kept telling us the Marvel references to their characters, pffft! I don't care about that really, I just laughed my head off at Kathryn Hahn as the helpful neighbour, Paul Bettany as Vison ( who knew he had such great comedic timing? ) and of course Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda.
I enjoyed that era of B & W tv shows, ( like their was even a choice back then ) which this show is set exactly like....a very recognizable Dick Van Dyke style home setting, with splashes of Bewitched and I Love Lucy. The audience laugh track too!
A time when housewives wore aprons and pearls at home....lol!!!
Enjoy as much of Ozark as you can....such an amazing show!

@GoJays that’s what we plan to do with Disney + also did that with Crave a while back . But my Younger DD has Netflix when she was living on Campus. I know she is whining about the cost going up all the time so not sure if she will cancel it later
