Yay!!! Page 1500!!! How cool that I get to post on it!
I ran out of time yesterday to be about but I'm squeezing in a few minutes now just to check out life in SC land.
With the sidewalks bare of snow and ice,I've managed to extend my walking which I've read helps arthritis. It's not so bad today but my sinuses have been throbbing. Oh well, if that's my biggest complaint I'm not doing too bad.
Both my roast beast and crockpotted chicken turned out well(as I'm still here posting).Speaking of food, time to do something about dinner.
Have a great evening and an even better weekend!(despite losing an hour-grr!)Always remember the What are you thankful for today? thread as there always is something to be thankful for.

@Natalka , thank you...they were such fun to make.
About your physio....slow and easy, Missy. If you get a cortisone shot and don't feel pain during physio, you could really hurt yourself. Hon, I went through that after my broken leg...I was so discouraged at my progress, but thank goodness my therapists at the hospital were always encouraging, stopping me if I had pain because it may be causing damage., even if I didn't want to stop. Remember, we've both been restricted, in bed for so long, our muscles had become weak, atrophied, it takes a long time to build then up again and regain muscles in our legs.
Be kind to your legs, you'll be strolling down the street, feeling strong again.Last edited by Lynn49; Fri, Mar 12th, 2021 at 06:46 PM.

Good morning to the earliest bird today @cath007 !! I was up, but not quite that early. Unlike you cath007, there is no grocery shopping, cleaning or recycling chores on my schedule today. Oh don't get me wrong...there should be some cleaning going on but meh??
, what's another day.
Last night I binged the entire First Season of a Netflix show called Lupin. Very much enjoyed that. Now waiting patiently ( not! ) as they add the next episodes...Part Deux! ( soon they say )
Have a wonderful weekend all...Hmmmm, is this the Sunday we lose an hour of sleep?

Good morning.....I had hoped daylight saving time would be turfed this year.....maybe next.
@cath007 , still keeping your Dad in prayers, and like @walkonby , even if I wanted to clean around here, with 2 of us, the upkeep required is pretty minimal. A D&C (dusting and cleaning) regularly and then sit back and relax.
Today I'll start our DDs b'day gift .... she's getting other gifts, but this will be made by me. Birthdays are like Christmas here. Now I have to determine the menu..apps, dinner, dessert, tablesetting....love it!
It's dang cold out there today! -7 up to +2. But a lovely few days has killed all the snow off our neighbours front yard! Hubby snowblows snow onto our yard so we still have quite a bit. I suppose it'll snow again, but one day closer to its total death.
Ok! Enjoy your weekend however you plan on spending it! Just stay home as much as possible, be safe.Last edited by Lynn49; Sat, Mar 13th, 2021 at 10:13 AM.

I did it!!
After 2 1/2 gazillion videos I finally took the plunge and poured our Daughter's gift from her Mom.Like you all, she's so supportive of my new challenges with resin and those coasters, lol...but I won't do any more until the weather gets warm enough so that I can open the windows in the rec room for air. I should be wearing a PPE mask or some such, but haven't bought one yet.
Resin fumes aren't much fun....but playing with it is!!
Now to check on it in about an hour or two to see if there's anything else I want to do to it although I know messing around with it isn't always a good idea. So.....I impatiently wait...resin has a mind of its own so no matter what is planned, it just does what resin does.
I hope they're happy surprises!
