wow...how fast a news story changes. When I read the NYD news story it seemed Condoleezza Rice was being considered by the Browns ( even though I too thought it was a crazy idea ). THAT rumour got shot down quickly by the Browns next press release.

So another wind down to another relaxing weekend for us. Nice.
Just the way it should be when the weekday stresses of the job get to you.
Well....not me personally but my hubby. He will soon join the ranks of retirees in sweat pants 24/7 !!

However I'm trying to picture your DH in a pair...hahaha....oh, he's going to enjoy those!!

Told my DH how much you enjoyed that movie so we'll try to get to a matinee some time this week...I was hesitant, but you convinced me and he's very happy with you!

An early appt. today....rats means I have to shower and put on clothes again....ha ha @Lynn49 I believe you about owning NO sweatpants, although just think how practical they are if you happen to spill your wine? No frantic dabbing the stain with soda water, just toss 'em in the wash and if the stain remains so be it, they now become indoor retirement attire!

Ouch to a story I heard ( and ewww! watched the highlights of ) where on the 33rd anniversary of Joe Theismann's leg break heard around the world, Alex Smith gets the same injury ( a broken leg )

Hope everyone had a great and restful weekend. Will be another busy Monday here have a few Dr appointments to follow up on and a few errands to run. With the Airmiles Promo Shop the Block started I have a few stores to visit that I normally would not. So off to the race.

Good Morning All ..i’m packing last few things into my suitcase..Then heading out to airport ..for my shopping 🛍 trip to Ontario ..just hope snow dont delay my flight this evening ..need all time i can get for shopping..when i get back to Newfoundland on weekend..im going need week off work just to recuperate from all running around ..hope everyone have’s wonderful week ..i know i will hahaha Take care and hopefully i get chance check in see how everyone is doing .

Oh my gosh! I just looked up as that happened 33 years ago-can never get that image out of my head!

Big decisions tonight wrt our new minister selection. The whole structure of the United Church is changing in the New Year, so we are trying to get all of our work done within the current structure. This new person would have, then to give 90 days notice to her current church.

Bone density test this afternoon.
