Just had physio and I am played out, but pleased.
Getting standing was good and strong, and this time I was able to step sideways to the left. These little things you take for granted, now everything has to be thought out.
The PT did more sensitivity tests to my left hand, pinkie finger and lower have not improved.

I just had a very dry bran muffin for a snack, now I need a rest. I will call someone to help me into this modified z-position, it helped yesterday.

First off @Natalka I am seeing progress again! This is all accumulative. The forward steps, the side steps.....before long you'll be cha-cha-cha-ing! ha ha

I am recording The Wife atm, ( Glenn Close ) but was in the middle of watching a movie on Super Channel called Rabbit?? never heard of it but description made it sound worth trying out.

@Lynn49 I vote a big fat enthusiastic YES!! to your DD and hubby building that elaborate cat enclosure off their trailer this summer. Do cats smile? I'm convinced both Suda and Preeta will be grinning if they get to sit inside of that " cat house ".

The wind was nasty driving! Early this a.m. I went out to FB and then to the library. I swear the vehicle was being pulled over to the left as I gripped the wheel and insisted it stay in the middle!
I watched the most eye opening video ( it was so long ) about SUGAR!!
I've known about most of this stuff anyways and have taken steps in the past ( and also right now ) to eliminate the white poison from my diet but watching this video helped to bump up my determination for continuing on my relationship with Dr. Poon. ( I mean he really " had me at hello " anyways )

The video is not new, but it contains facts that cannot be disputed...oh I'll stop preaching....watch if you like!1

Well, @GoJays, @walkonby, I'll raise your mini-blizzard and high winds and bet our SECOND earthquake at around 2am this morning will win! Hahaha!! I think it was around a 3.4-ish. Never thought we lived in a quake zone! However, Vale responded again by saying their blasts caused both of them. So as long as they put a halt to all blasting in their mines, I'd feel much safer, thankew very much!

Aren't those catios (yep, that's what they're called) too cute, Walks? I can just see two Siamese slithering around in it on their deck! They have such different personalities, though....Suda is the quiet, snuggly one, and Preeda...well, a glass tipped over on a bureau upstairs in their bedroom, and our DD said, that's Preeda without even looking and sure enough, an entire glass of water spilled on her night table! She's full of piss and vinegar and they adore both of them.

I'll watch that "sugar" video again, @walkonby; I think I saw it or something similar a while back, and like you, I take in very little of the stuff unless it's hidden away in something that I use very little of.

@Natalka, Walks might be onto something. If you wake up some morning and see sticker-footprints on your floor, you know it's cha-cha time!! Keep up the good work, Girl!!!

I read about that second quake but from the way it was written, I couldn't tell whether the blasting had registered as a quake or whether the blast had CAUSED a quake. Yikes- I think you had better move to good old stable Central Ontario 😆.

I am watching a "Garage Sale Mystery." I quite enjoy these.

I'm also tidying and packing.

A friend of mine from church who is a minister passed my name along to a couple that is looking for an officiant for a wedding on June 1. They asked him, but he is busy. I had been thinking that, although I am very happy that I don't have a wedding coming up immediately, I would be glad to start booking for the summer. My cousin is getting married in August in Niagara Falls. That's the only other wedding I have booked for this year.

Well, I need to get the kitchen looking more "viewable."

Good night, everyone!

Dancing is, for sure, on my to-do list!

Had the PT assistant in to help with exercises later in the afternoon.

I knew ahead of time that supper would be gross, so my husband came with things I wanted from home, plus he picked up takeout for us.
We had a nice visit, of course, but I just had to send him home. He was so tired from his day at work.

Overnight our water at home froze, but it was a good thing he got up earlier than he usually does - noticed the toilet did not flush. Then he realized it could have been from later the evening before because, as he said, you don't stop and listen to the tank refilling, it's just assumed.

Anyway he was able to heat a pipe a bit until he thought he really shouldn't be doing that because we don't need burst pipes, but at least before he left for work it flushed, the water was running - so he left a tap open with just barely a drip.

Nurse just popped in to see if I needed anything before she brought meds. She is awesome and funny, I hope to get her some time on days when there is more interaction. It's the really sick or hurt people who need help at night.

So I say happy dreams to all of you!

@avoncallingu , the blasts from Vale's mining blasts actually CAUSED those earthquakes, as registered on that site Natalka posted. I've never heard of that happening before, and yes, I'd move south in a minute....just as soon as our DD does. And she won't. We tried, lol. But she loves it here. Maybe not right now, in this weather, perhaps.

Nothing on the docket, not going out onto that ice, so I'll do some sewing on that camp quilt.

The portable lift had already been brought into the room, along with the shower chair - and she questioned me as to why I couldn't walk and step from the bed to the chair. I would explain, and she would question again - all in a very ugly, demeaning tone.
The way she was going at me made me feel sick...
Then she hurt me during the lift - not saying it was deliberate. She said that was the only way she could do it. I said I had been lifted with this before and it never happened. She said well maybe the straps were different.

So it made me cry, more than once already.

The day can only get better after that!

Crap, @Natalka...some of those damn nurses are so old and rusted-out they ought to be cleaning toilets instead of working with real people! People who are actuall ILL!!!
Here's one for ya:...it took my DH and I 5 years to conceive...I had a wonderful specialist and we went through every test in the book, as did my Hubby, and there was nothing wrong with either of us! Well...I was put on a fertility drug, and the next month I was pregnant and of course we were overjoyed!! 2 months later I was spotting a bit, so my specialist whisked me off to the hospital and I was on complete bedrest. Well!!! One morning this bloody nurse comes in and asks me why I'm there at all! I told her the story, and she bluntly said, "Well. At your stage we just assume it'll be lost."
CAN YOU IMAGINE?! After 5 years of crying every month, horrible tests and she dares say this to ME?
Well, later that day my doctor came in to visit and I told him what happened and he was just still for a moment then barged out of the room. Never saw the b*tch again and when I asked another nurse if I ever have to see her again, she just smiled and said, "No. Never again." I should say that when my doctor came back from likely tearing a strip off her, he came back to my room where I was still in tears assuring me that I'm in the right place, that everything is being done to preserve my pregnancy and of course, everything turned out well.

So yes, Honey, they're out there and you should absolutely report the "abuse" and use that word!! You won't have to put up with her ever again, I promise!! Even the nice nurses likely don't like her, either!

I hope your day gets better from here on in....I put up with nothing from any "help" I'm either provided or hire, and neither should you! All the best today, Nat!!!

Well, our GS phoned this morning, we chatted, then he invited us over in the afternoon to see the kittens (I'm sure his Mom knew, lol), and I said, "Kittens! I'd rather see YOU!"....he has a new magic trick to show us, and I said I ave a surprise for him, too and that I had something for him to try!! So we'll be off to Michaels for pipe-cleaners, and FB here for Borax...yep, growing crystals in a super-saturated solution. I hope it works for him, because if he makes one more of "his' recipes for slime they'll go nuts! Hahahaha!!!!
I also ordered this for him from aliexpress because he (well, we all do!) finds little Groot so cute: he can just use it on his desk for stuff......I'll bring that over, too...
