@cath007 Just wonderful that your Dad is now back at his own place. The familiarity of the surroundings ( and the cat! lol ) will most certainly aid in his healing. I am very happy for your family. Everything should slowly return to normal, especially with his decision to quit smoking.
If past smokers could testify to this, I think one's appetite increases after quitting, so get ready to cook up a storm for him...ha ha
All the best!!

He have to call the pharmacist for informations.Good thing he get them delivered!!!
He will have the visit of the clsc nurse tomorrow morning for his vital signs ..good thing for a speedy follow up!!!
He eated well for supper so I am a little less worried
He also fill up the form online for this health insurance he will get with that
Good thing he get out of the hospital today...I dont know if depend the zone in the hospital but now they charge 13$ per day for watching the tv..that is ridiculous....Last edited by cath007; Wed, Mar 17th, 2021 at 06:07 PM.

So glad to see you here, dededi! It's been a long time!
@cath007 - Very happy to hear that your dad is home. The journey begins- it may be slow or unpredictable. You will conquer the bumps in the road together! I bet you are so happy!
I had a terrible night last night and so slept til noon ( after finally getting to sleep at 4) So now I am hardly tired again.
Had to take Tootie to the vet again. She has another bladder infection. He gave her an antibiotic shot that works for 2 weeks. Nothing else bad happening there. He reminded me that she wouldn't survive surgery, so was confident that this course of action would fix her up. I'm feeding her the right food to prevent urinary infections and giving her the meds to help her circulation around her heart and lungs.
Today I also gave her flea and tick meds that will last until June.
So, it's off to bed to try to sleep.
Take care sleep well!

@cat007 - glad to know your dad is well enough to come home - recovery will be a while, and I hope he continues to progress.
Hoping you know about all the home care available for your dad, don't hesitate to take advantage of them. In SK most things are covered by the government, but if one needs assistance with getting someone in to help clean house etc., we are able to get workers at a very reduced rate instead of paying tons for private companies. Plus, one has the security of knowing the workers are hired through the government home care.
I am hoping someone at the hospital spoke to you about this already before your dad's release from hospital.

Talk about multicultural!
For those who may not know, on the right is depicted a Ukrainian kozak (Cossack)- a minstrel at times, at others a fierce fighter.
I am lucky enough to have a book of writings about the Kozak Holota -- that was my maiden name. It is a compilation of stories based on ancient Ukrainian ballads.Last edited by Natalka; Thu, Mar 18th, 2021 at 01:20 AM.

Hi, hope that all of you are well.
I had physio mid-afternoon and am really feeling hurt all over, as one would expect.
However, I did well by doing three stands - but my darned right knee prevented me from being able to step with any improvement. Hey, at least she said my posture is better!
Had no choice but to sleep a bit after supper, so I shall be up for hours yet .
Decent charge on tablet, so I will try to watch some shows.
Milan is coming over tomorrow after work, so Yipee!
Xxooxx
