Good Morning! Mail truck just came and delivered the book i won from Goodreads Giveaways called Turn a Blind Eye by JefferyArcher. Anxious to read it. Too wet to do things outside, dont feel like baking; just one of those days.

Hi, everyone! I awoke in decent shape but now, four hours later my right knee is in it's horrible spot where me moving any body part hurts it. Drat, I don't need this, just hoping it doesn't last long.

Yesterday aft was to be the emergency alert system test. It came over my radio a few minutes before two. Tv went off, then husband's cell phone.
However, my husband's cell was not done - a second one came in a few mi, then the third.

Just wait... There is more! At least 18 times the alert came on, every minute a d a half to two minutes. It stopped being funny after six, no more laughing...

Oh, yes, @Natalka ...that would have been my Mom's table...no idea where all the food ever came from but she was prepared for everyone and everything!

JK about the flags...they're from the city, I think they're replacing all the somethingorothers underground so all our lawns will be dug up eventually...likely and hopefully when we're at camp or Jenny will be going ballistic as she was when the 'shifty" men stuck those flags in.
Honestly I had to plop her on the floor and take away her stairs to her window chair to stop her from barking. She's very over-protective. haha!

This cricut!!! OMGosh, what a learning curve, but I've managed to download an SVG file, extract it and slip it onto the cricut grid!!
Thing is..it didn't want to cut through the vinyl, so more work do do.

woo hoo to 2 of our 3 Toronto teams today. Blue Jays split the Oakland series 2-2 by winning handily today 10-4.
The Leafs scored 4 goals in the first period and eventually won against Montreal 5-2, but despite being neck and neck for all 4 quarters with Washington, the Raptors lost in O.T.

I made such a large amount of chicken soup today. Guessing we'll be slurping this well into the weekend. Added a bag of cooked broad egg noodles near the end which made it so yummy!

On average, i win about 2 books a month! I guess im lucky. I know its random computer selection, so keep on trying. One time i won 10 books in a month. So you never know.

that food table reminds me of these 2 elderly Italian ladies that i used to visit. They were the MIL and Aunt of a very good friend of mine who has since passed. The minute you walked into their house you were plied with all sorts of Italian cookies and sweets, not to mention their Italian wedding soup and sauces. And you had to eat or else they were insulted. And when you left you were always handed a goodie bag.

Good morning!

Vampire was just here from the mobile lab to do a blood draw. She was blonde and beautiful, even rocking a mask...

My bizarre knee pain has stayed with me, so it was a rough night. Husband has to lift the leg on and off the bed, and that still hurts. If I have to do it myself, there are many tears and howling. I hate, hate, hate this type of pain - don't know what starts it, nor what ends it. I don't even have to move my leg to get the stabbing pain - something like scootching over while sitting at bedside, even worse when trying on the bed... Gah!

Nothing else going on. Hope your lives are more exciting.
I did a superstore order last night, husband will pick up after lunch.
Yay some junk for me!
