Greetings, all!
It's still Friday for another half hour!
First off, I want to thank @avoncallingu for mentioning Sleepytime tea a while back. I had forgotten all about it. I still had some bags left in a sampler pack - I felt they did me some good - chamomile for my often-in-the-evening yucky tummy feeling, then I felt it just relaxed me. Plus it tastes yummy, so got a full box of the regular one - there is a super one, as well as lavender.
I also had that med suggested to me a while back, but it seemed to me there were too many side effects. The Dr agreed, so I have been using other things.
The past few days have been really rough - so I don't want to come on here to whine...
Enjoy each day; have a great weekend!

@Natalka - I'm sorry things have been rough for you. I hope the week ahead is better. I agree with flemeth - whine to your heart's content
But going through what you are and still keeping your sense of humour (I relate to the *spite* post!) says a lot about your strength and who you are. Hang in there
Btw, magnesium is supposed to help with sleep. I have a condition that causes sleep problems and take some every night (along with a tiny bit of melatonin) It's made a difference for me (even before I added the melatonin). I wish you lots ofLast edited by Silk; Mon, Dec 14th, 2020 at 03:47 AM.

Good Sunday morning!
@Natalka , I'll join the chorus of voices here encouraging you to whine, vent to your heart's content. There will be times when we'll all need a shoulder to lean on in here, and that's what we're here for. I hope you had another good sleep last night and will wake up with less pain and discomfort this morning.
Well, winter dumped on us yesterday. I'm not impressed...we went from sneakers and hoodies to a full-on winter wardrobe. Poopy. Absolutely poopy.
Today I'll make, bake and freeze another "dish" for Christmas day....we all agreed to relinquish our traditional dinner for an afternoon of appetizers, dishes of all kinds to graze away the day. Today I'll make prosciutto and sage leaves puff pastry palmieres to bake and freeze. I may prepare our favourite lentil soup to have there, also to go along with the heavier dishes that'll also be part of the day.
Christmas EveEve dinner will be here with the kids, so I also have to prepare that dinner...I'm going Itzkian with my semi-worl famous lasagna, my Hubby's semi- world famous Caesar salad, fresh sourdough bread, and tiramisu for dessert. One pan, no mess, no fuss!
I hope everyone's plans are coming together for the big day....in 12 days!!

@Silk , I had been bothered by horrible leg and foot cramps for years, so one day when we were at our doctor's office, I asked him for a magic pill to make it all go away. He apologized for not having one, but suggested that I take one 400mg magnesium pill each night before bed. Phhht!, I thought. Ohhh, sure.
I did and still do, take one each night.....I've never had leg cramps or restless legs syndrome since then!! Amazing what non-pharmaceuticals can do, hm?

@Lynn49 that ginger kitty is doing what is called " meerkat-ing ? " ( I think ) Hamlet has done that on my bed as he tries to look out the bedroom window....I laugh every time.
Btw your menu descriptions of the Christmas Eve meal and Christmas Day grazing made me hungry.
My deepest sympathies about getting dumped.............on..........by Mother Nature.....the snow baby, the snow!
We are clear skies for the moment here but it changes so fast I bank on nothing.
Birthday celebrations are going on here today. Two lucky December borns......we never combine their Christmas gifts with their b'day ones and no one is permitted to say " Happy Birthday Merry Christmas Loser! " to either of them.
Who besides me has ever said that? hee hee
They are separate celebrations so I even purchased specific b'day wrap even though I have oodles of Christmas paper here.
I AM a saint!
Enjoy the last weekend before TCSHTF! ( the Christmas Sh*t hits the fan )
