Well all sorts of interesting posts today but @GoJays knocked it out of the park with the Black Friday jingle!
Haven't done much today as too much pain but I did some gift shopping online. As for in person sales the savings aren't worth my health. I am surprised that Black Friday went ahead in person anywhere as the malls would be just the place for the virus to spread.
End of rant!
Have a great weekend one and all!Always remember the What are you thankful for today? thread as there always is something to be thankful for.

You can't save some people from themselves, @Skippy....we can only keep ourselves safe.
As for online shopping, I doubt I'd do it any other way for most things now! It's magic how things just appear on the doorstep!
I hope pick-up groceries never end, as much as I used to really enjoy grocery shopping esp when the kids were still with us at home, you can't beat this for convenience and malls are dying a slow death anyway.
So, Ontario has passed legislation doing away with our bouncing time changes! Finally!
Although I don't understand why Quebec and New York have to change for us to put ours into practice!!
@GoJays, my apologies, I just couldn't get through that Black Friday song...those people!!!!! I've never been that up close and personal to that ugly mess of humanity!!
Does anyone remember the carpet day deals at Sears?? People would line up outside the doors for $10 carpets, they'd run up both the up and down escalators to get them!! Chaos! We just stood there waiting for some idiot to fall off the things!Last edited by Lynn49; Fri, Nov 27th, 2020 at 06:29 PM.

Barack Obama and Donald Trump somehow ended up at the same barber shop...
As they sat there, each being worked on by a different barber, not a word was spoken. The barbers were both afraid to start a conversation, for fear that it would turn nasty.
As the barbers finished their shaves in silence, the one who had Trump in his chair reached for the aftershave. But Donald was quick to stop him, jokingly saying: "No thanks. My wife, Melania, will smell that and think I've been in a brothel."
The second barber turned to Barack and said: "How about you, Mr. Obama?"
Barack replied: "Go right ahead. My wife Michelle doesn't know what the inside of a brothel smells like...

Finally over this stupid pain I had in my foot. Going to head to the gym tomorrow for about an hour treadmill incline walk. Finally settling in on my grocery list for Monday. My aunt also wants to take me for lunch. I hope everyone has been having a good weekend.

Good morning @GoJays !
Oh....drool! Mel as he used to be.
Anyhow, let's kiss the films set in 2020 goodbye ( films like Edge Of Tomorrow and G.I. Joe Rise of the Cobra ) and focus a little more on the hopeful films that were set in 2021.
Uh oh ! Buckle up Buttercup....there is not much to be hopeful about.
In 2003 a little film called It's All About Love ( Sean Penn ) dealt with clones replacing us, then in 1995 there was Johnny Mnemonic ( swoon Keannu!! ) that involved brain implants and finally both A Quiet Place and A Quiet Place Part 11 involve those hideous monsters!
Be afraid, be very afraid...but don't make any sound.
Now don't those pesky news stories about murder hornets kind of make you yawn?
Have a lovely Sunday everyone.

Hello and Happy Sunday!
Same owies- blah, blah, blah...
Nurse came Thursday. Although my legs have been clear of wounds for three+ weeks, they still want me to remain in Cobands for a while yet. Gah, but I understand...
We have been getting bits of snow every few days, and the temps are above average, so that has been good all around.
Hope you all are having a lovely weekend! I envy those of you making stuff and decorating for Christmas!
Take care, stay safe.
