Lunch I had to finish up the rest of the kuku I made last weekend (it actually lasts pretty well in the fridge surprisingly which is good because it makes a huge pile for one person). Recipe is here for anyone that has no idea what it is and would like to try it: http://mypersiankitchen.com/kuku-sab...h-fresh-herbs/ It's sooooo good and very filling!

Supper is probably going to be "homemade" curry soup. Egg noodles, chicken broth and curry powder LOL! I assume it's better for me than eating Mr. Noodle, so I buy a package of the asian egg noodles and make my own stock since I only like the spicy chicken and curry chicken Mr. Noodle kinds.

It's important to add the veg and chow mein noodles and sauce at the last minute, only heat just through for about 15 seconds then plate, or it will be watery and mushy instead of bright and crisp

Last night, I made cherry perogies - a once a year treat! They were awesome, and my sweet husband helped me by rolling out the dough and cutting the rounds - my hands had had enough because I baked earlier in the day, and my hands were already sore from pitting and cutting the cherries!
Also made some with saskatoon berries, but I didn't like them as much as the cherry ones.
It's kinda cool to have 'sweets' for supper, because these are served with butter, sour cream, with sugar sprinkled on top.

Husband couldn't handle that idea, lol, so he had a few leftover burgers first...

Last night was dinner at my brother's house: Chicken in the slow-cooker (cooked with a can of cream of chicken & cream of mushroom soup), homemade gravy, Stove Top Stuffing and Caesar salad, mmm mmmm mmmmmm!

Tonight: Probably nothing too extravagant, it's really humid here. Maybe soft tacos? I bought a kit the other day at Walmart.

We went swimming on Friday evening and so we didn't have dinner until late. Stopped at a place called Mucho Burrito (Fresh Mexican grill). Yum. It was so good, we repeated it on Saturday and again on Sunday. I think we're done for now.

Supper is some sort of casserole with ground pork, and assorted stuff I had to use up - cauliflower, mushrooms, tomatoes, broccoli stalks, carrots, a bit of rice - made a bit of a sauce to go with, garlicky tomatoey Italian spiced - turned out really well. Will serve with pasta.
