Made apple pie! One slightly-squished pie crust from the great tenderflake coupons last year, about 4 lb free apples from a coworker ( :D ) and crumble topping with walnuts.
The drizzle is a caramel I made with the 'juice' from cooking down the apples. Made with sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and of course the liquid from the apples as they cooked down. I strained out the apples when they were cooked enough, then reduced the liquid into a syrup. I took a little of it and cooked it down even more into a caramel consistency.
The rest (there was actually a lot!) is in the fridge and is DELICIOUS. I may or may not have squirted some right in my mouth tonight... If I drank fancy coffee or ate oatmeal, the syrup would be amazing on/in it. I'm going to make another pie when I get some Okanagan apples and make enough syrup to make a big batch of caramels out of for Christmas.

Yesterday i made 48 banana muffins. Well actually since my arthritis in my right hand is very bad right now, hubby sliced and mashed the bananas and mixed all the ingrédients and then filled the muffin tins and baked them. And out of the 48 muffins, i only have 30 left! Hubby is an oinker!
