I'm cooking a small roast today since it's a little chilly this morning. We have eating a lot of potatoes lately, so I probably will make rice and a soup with it.

Let the eating marathon begin! this evening my aunt is having a big family dinner, baked ham, scalloped potatoes etc...there will be a lot of food...I'm bringing my usual, dessert & wine ..haven't decided on dessert yet, probably pumpkin pie (which isn't big here for some reason) ...tonight there's a birthday party thingy I'm making my taco dip that everyone asks for (I add a secret ingredient ..lol) and honey garlic wings....AND tomorrow is the BIG turkey dinner at my grandmother's...the turkey is SO big she started the thawing process last night.. I had oats for breakfast, salad for lunch..I'm ready!

Takeout tonight from Pizza 73 - bits of everything: all dressed pizza, crispy wings, carrots, curly fries, onion rings, df shrimp. Yum. Lots of leftovers.
L'il rant - in summer was the first time we ordered from there, because I had a gift card. I adored the shrimp - they were plump and juicy, so this time ordered the big pack - BUT they were overcooked and dry... so I was sad, uh... but still ate them.

For the gang ( not GF for me but oh well ) I bought a few packs of those fresh Ziggy pasta things from NF ( I hope $2.00 for a 250 g of beef tortellini and cheese spinach ones are a deal, they seemed like it ) It is a veggie soup with that pasta from page 29 from the WM Better Living Oct issue.

OMG!!!!!!!!!! We survived last night`s Thanksgiving dinner and 3 Birthday parties which were held together! Massive amount of kids, more than i was told but most left before dinner, only 7 were for dinner. Thank God! But the food was fantastic (DD forgot to stuff the turkey, lol), almost everything went except some turkey and some Belgian bread. Everyone was properly stuffed and of course we had to leave room for the 3 b-day cakes for dessert!
Tonight for dinner, well probably something light like salad or cereal!

Last night's dinner was insane, my step mom yeah wow it was insane we had:
Turkey
Stuffing
Gravy
Glazed Ham
Potatoes
Potato Dumplings
Butternut Squash
Red Cabbage
Sweet Potato
3 Bean Salad
Carrots
Peas
Dessert:
Pumpkin Pie
Apple Crisp
Pumpkin Pie Dip with Cookies
Needless to say we were all stuffed once dinner was done, no one even came into the kitchen to pick at food well we were cleaning up.
Tonight's dinner still a mystery.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

My turkey is in the oven, my apple pie is in another oven. I made stuffing completely from scratch for the first time, we'll see how good it comes out. I made a stuffing bread in my bread machine (using this recipe: http://baking.food.com/recipe/stuffi...-machine-88258). It came out pretty tasty, we'll see how it comes out in the bird.
Happy Thanksgiving all!

We stayed home for Thanksgiving this year. All of our family is 5+hrs away.
Last nigh we had mashed potatoes (from my garden), raw carrots (from my garden), with a mushroom gravy sauce that also contained yellow onion and cut up chicken breasts.
Tonight's supper is shepherd's pie, which is why I made so much mashed potatoes last night. Dh likes shepherd's pie a lot more than I do, but I still thought it would be a good idea since I haven't made it in a long time.Help me out with Swagbucks and we can both earn gift cards and PayPal money
