Saturday we went to our fav shwarma place and had chicken shwarmas.
Sunday I made my version of mousaka instead of eggplant I used potatoes and no bechimal sauce.
Tonight is homemade pizza on lavash bread, with a pesto base, mozza, mushrooms, zucchini, onions, spinach and feta.

Tonight was an early supper because our 3yr old has skating and then dh has a meeting to chair. I used an old family recipe. Corn chowder with buttered bread and a glass of milk. I are a few mini chocolate bars for dessert.

My meeting was cancelled tonight so now I can play in the kitchen! The freezer is packed (lots of quick meals for my teen) but I want real food tonight. Will dig and see what I find to plan/make for the next few nights. Pork roast for sure one night! Thinking pasta with chicken and mini tomatoes from the garden that need to be used up before they go bad. I have 1/2 a pepper too. Will figure it out tonight

Hengst extra lean Oktoberfest sausage yum! They are the best ones at Sobeys. I prefer the honey garlic ones. I called their company to be added to their mailing list but said the only discount they offer is a $1 at farmer's markets. They are $5.80/ pkg. of 4 lrg. sausages and never go on sale
at Atlantic Super, Sobeys, Provigo, Walmart or smaller grocery stores.
