My brother is similar-not so cooperative. Have any friends up for a morning session of take apart furniture and have takeout?
Coupon expiry time-the McDonald's ones expire tomorrow (ON). PG Brandsaver ones expire on Monday-want to use the 75 cents off on one Herbal Essences shampoo at Fortino's this weekend as the flyer shows the product on sale.
Spotted a roasted cauliflower pizza recipe from Woman's Day-will put the chopped purple cauliflower to use for supper tonight and that squeeze bottle of Primo pizza sauce (Fortino's stocks the bottle now) too as I don't have the red onion or cheese.
Glad to know that I don't have to roast the cauliflower in advance-pizza baking does the trick!2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

@SassyAshley is your bro coming over this weekend? I really think it would be worth 30 minutes of his time and your piece of mind and your space back.
@Crochetlady fingers crossed you get an appointment next week with your eye specialist
Well I went to Independent grocers got 118K in points...happy dance, then off to M&M to get chicken wings for a treat and the meatballs at $9.99 for 3lbs (can't make them for that price). Then to GT got ds1 the football popcorn maker for Christmas gift from santa . FreshCo for some fresh chickens $1.77lbs and some tostitos at $1.97.
AND spent way too much but should be stocked on meats for the month and will shop for staples milk, bread and fruits.2019 is the year that we continue to save before we buy!!!

You and Me hope your wrist feels better
Nancy nope, no bro yet, Mom wants to do it ourselves at this point. I am just going to put it out of my mind for the time being and work on what I can and not worry about what I cannot change.

Good day! I started on the laundry this morning and then started ripping my room apart! Every piece of crap/garbage is gone! And the damn tv that I never watch. Tossed some garbage clothes. Moved the bed and cleaned under there- socks, hair ties, and tons of Christmas paper! (that I hid there last year) Now it is with the other stuff. Vacuumed then washed the hardwood. Bed is now made with fresh sheets. Youngest ripped his room apart too. Lots of garbage out! Moved a bigger bookshelf in his room and he sorted all his books etc. We are on a late lunch break and then he is to clean out his animal cage and vaccuum. Then I will wash his floors Will keep at the laundry and put away as it finishes. Homemade burgers with salad for dinner. Will have to pick up teen from his job later but planning on snuggling on the couch and watching hopefully a good movie tonight!
Hope everyone is having a great day!

Good Afternoon Everyone,
Where did the day go?????
I decided to see how much I could get done today as I am not sleeping well. I keep waking up in the middle of night wide awake like it is morning but leave me wanting to go back to bed when I need to get up. I was up just after 6 today so I started the laundry which is now done, folded and put away.
This morning I also cleaned up the kitchen which was a disaster from last night but I was too tired to care. I made a Pasta Sauce to put in the fridge to use this week for lunches and dinners. I also decided to make dinner this morning as I was worried I would crash this afternoon and not want to cook. I made a Pork version of Sheppard's Pie, I cubed up some pork made a Mushroom Gravy and topped it with Mashed Potato. I totally forgot we are almost out of milk, meant to stop last night and forgot, and couldn't go get as I already had food on the stove so instead I used a small amount sour cream and a little chicken stock. We will see the how they go over. So dinner is in the fridge ready to go just need to pop into the oven.
I also started to slowly clean up my stockpile room. Due to changes in our eating there are number of expired items I need to toss. I hate to toss any food but reality is we already kept it once saying we would remember to eat it even though it is not really part of new eating habits. So I have decided to just toss it and make room for items we will use.
I am now sitting with a cup of tea and working on Mom's sweater I am crocheting, I think I am done for the day. I think I got a nice amount done considering how tired I am.
Have a great day everyone.

@YOU AND ME sorry to hear your wrist is still bothering you, did you recently get it re-cast could that be causing the pain? I understand not wanting to wait in emerg but if it persist I would make a follow up appointment to have it xrayed or something, take care
@SassyAshley sounds like a productive day
Whole chicken cooked, mashed potatoes, gravy and broccoli. There is enough mashed potatoes and gravy for dh's lunches this week and chicken as well. Eldest is spending the weekend at my folks. I made a huge pot of chicken soup with the carcass, potato water, frozen veggies only to discover no room in the freezer (gah). So I called mil to come and get some which she did. I will be serving homemade soup tomorrow for lunch as my folks will be bringing ds1 back.
wishing everyone a great evening2019 is the year that we continue to save before we buy!!!
