Lol, I hope it's just the cooking. It smells nice to me but others not so much sometimes. Very simple curry: curry powder, garlic, onion powder, paprika and cumin, coconut mlik and then add in the chickpeas and maybe some potatoes. Also just a touch of flour to thicken it. Make a roux and then slowly add the coconut milk and simmer.

...I had a large beef roast that I cut in 1/2, the first half is in the oven cooking slowing for sandwiches over the next couple of days..and the other 1/2 I cut up and simmering on the stove in a small dipper for beef stew and I'm making bisquick dumplings...comfort food at its finest...hee hee hee...and I made a large pot of pasta sauce full of ground beef, mushrooms, onion, garlic, etc that I might turn into a lasagna tomorrow

Actually wound up not making the curry. My aunt took me for dinner at East side marios. They have some meals where you get to take a second meal home with you. So my aunt told me to take her take home meal too. Then she took me for groceries and paid for it until I pay her back Tuesday.

late last night before the guys got home I made up another stew! Hoping they wouldn't say " oh no! not stew again " , they didn't....whew!
This time I pressure cooked trays of the marked down cuts of veal chops I had in the freezer, then added lots of large diced green peppers, some onions, carrots and spuds, with a twist on the flavouring I dumped in a pouch of that free Teriyaki sauce sample I got so long ago..... turned out pretty good.

Forgot until I was reminded last night that I am on my own for dinner so thinking quick and simple leftovers, we still have a few different items in the fridge that need to be used up or frozen. I will choose what I want when I get home and then work on freezing the rest.
