So I was MIA yesterday because I had one of the longest days ever and then it took over an hour to get home in traffic
So day7 was take out pizza and ravioli that my mom got for us so I wouldn't have to cook <3 I lover her.

Day 8: my take on scalloped potatoes using sweet potatoes and a side salad. It was ok but I messed up and made it with too much liquid

Last night we had home made chili with rice and sugar snap peas.

Dh didn’t want leftovers and some of our kids are still sick, so he sent me out for KFC. The KFC employee wouldn’t give me a sheet of coupons to use towards the purchase, so I used the KFC app. With this location, a lot of things vary depending on the employee running the till. The receipt and sheet of coupons were put in the bottom of the bag, without asking me...so now they aren’t the cleanest. We had chicken, fries, and gravy. I had sugar snap peas with it.

that delicious beef stew is still in the fridge. Sadly BOTH my guys have caught " something " and what seemed like an innocent cold has turned downright ugly with over all body aches, shivering, hacking cough....oh well, they are both still in bed and have no appetite so I won't have to make much....maybe a fresh chicken soup would bring them some comfort.

Tonight will be One Pot Chicken Lo Mein, it has been a little rough since I still cannot stand for long period of time which means dinner have been quick and easy throw together and my kitchen needs some attention as the dishes are piling up as I cannot bend to empty or reload the dishwasher.

Hope you all feel better very soon. Tonight an awesome band is playing at a local pub and 10 of us are going to shake it on the dance floor...As well as eating yummy pub food!
