Aw, love those sparrows, too...so quick and flighty and like you, robins appear here in the spring, have their little ones then who knows where? We seldom see them here in mid-summer. At least I don't and we spend a lot of time in the great outdoors. In summer. Not winter. Hate it already and it's not even here. And I have to order a new winter jacket. Blah.
HOWEVER!!!....

Thank-you, @Lynn49 for your kind gesture.
I thought the Robins had all left. A couple of families lived along the path we would walk through the cemetery. I thought they had gone away but I saw one the other day.
Great supper tonight.
My neighbour has gone to the hospital to have her baby. A couple of days ago she told me that the drs. didn't want her to go into labour yet because her blood pressure was really high. So I hope all is well.
Got some reading to do.

Good morning, folks!
Big day ahead. I don't particularly like ANY of the candidates for mayor here.
It's a "tidy-up" day, as well, since I got no laundry done on the weekend and things need organizing in the kitchen.
Well, I should launch into the day!
Layers will be the clothing option to keep warm today.
Take care, my friends!

Good morning, everyone!!
Busy-ish day, off for our dental cleanings then perhaps a visit to Costco since I haven't been there in a while.
We had a blush of snow on our car this morning, but it's gone now thank goodness; still, it's cold out there.
Enjoy your day, hope it brings you all nothing but good things!!

only have a few seconds to post so @Lynn49 did you suggest that you had Mason jars filled with soup that the lids had
" popped " and you were asking if you could freeze them? Forgive me if I read your post wrong but DON'T freeze them.
I did that with homemade chix broth that I painstakingly had made up and almost all the Jars busted in the freezer!
I even left " space " in the jar for expansion but they broke anyways.
Hope this is good advice.
ciao!
