Small freezer bags comment (brand name): cannot find them on Longo's shelf-they are all medium or large, brand name and store brand. Walmart's website does not list them but has current flyer $3.27 offer for select Ziploc bags. Fortinos does have the small (19 ct) box but I have to agree to paying $4.99.

When did small freezer bags start tapdancing off the grocery shelves?

    Good Morning Everyone,
I made it through yesterday. It slowly became one of those days, I went in being 3 people then the person I was working with had to leave making me 4 people. I think I scared my boss when I flat out told him 4 people is pushing it. But I made it through. Even as the day went on things kept happening, I was waiting for the manager to come back only to find out they rerouted him, he should have been back by noon, he did not get back until around 1:30/2. I hung around and kept covering person number 4 until around 3:30.

I did not want to but I decided it was best to stop on the way home and get some groceries. Originally I was thinking was today I could go out first thing like be at the stores at 7 am and try to get it done but I decided just going last night after work was better. This way today I could knock out my work and get stuff done around the house. This is what I got:

    Wal-Mart:
    5L Canola Oil $8.97 x 2
**Can I just say when did oil get so expensive, I used to buy this size at Costco no on sale for $7 something when I couldn't find the small jugs on sale
    Raspberries $1.67 x 2

    No Frills
    10 Lb Potatoes $1 x 4
*Honestly, thinking I might go back early next week and grab two more bags
Green Onions $2 for 3 bunches
    Pineapple $1.97
    Earl Grey Tea $4.97 x 2
    Tomatoes $0.97/lb x 1 bunch
    Mushrooms $3.99 x 1
*This is the big Naturally Imperfect package, they seem to have come down in price they weren't on sale but previously have been $4.97 now $3.99
    Milk x 1
    Sour Cream $1.97 x 2
    Velotine x 4
    Ice Cream x 1
    10 lb Sweet Potatoes $4.99
**I was going to grab a coupe on sale for $0.99/lb but me being me saw the 10 lb bag for $4.99 which is $0.50/lb, how could I say no.

There are still a few things we need and I need to go to Costco soon but one thing off my to-do-list, we have groceries.

I am still feeling overwhelmed so the first thing I am going to do today is write all of my to-do-lists:
    Meal Plan for this week
    Ingredient Prep for the week
    House work
Work because I do have to work this weekend

Hopefully having it written down will help me focus, plus crossing things off always puts me in my happy place.

    Happy Saturday everyone.

I totally agree and am miffed by the crazy jump in the price of cooking oil. What a scam someone is running.

Found a piece of leather in my bag of McCafe 900gr coffee beans. I called Keurig (as that is the number on the package) and they are sending a replacement coupon. I asked if they wanted the product back with the foreign item but they said no. Hmmm normally a company would ask so they could look into it further. Will buy grinded McCafe today just to be on the safe side. Not sure if I should use the beans and grind them still? Would you?

The rain has stopped but my backyard is starting to flood. This usually happens in the spring, this is the first year I have had the issue this time of the year. May have to put in some sort of drainage in the spring if the rain continues.

Getting things done slowly, key work being slowly.
@barbis9 I would not use them but that is me and my OCDs talking I would be worried they were contained with more than just the piece I could remove

I think McCafe is McDonalds. If it were me, I would skip using the beans just in case... I might be tempted to bring it into a McDonalds though and show them what you found. I think McDonalds stores sell beans as well.
