What's For Dinner?

Last night I cleaned/prepped 4 bags of organic Romaine ( each bag had 3 heads inside ) that I had bought off the reduced rack for $.50 each.
Made a large Caesar salad with just Romaine, red pepper and dried cranberries and used Green Goddess dressing....hmmm, guess that is not really a Caesar then eh?
Had it with 4 gluten free quinoa/honey crackers topped with melted Havarti cheese and thin slices of extra lean oven roasted turkey.
2 bottles of water

We are smoking a pork roast, and serving it with shrimp fried rice, grilled zucchini and baby bok choy. I’m making rhubarb strawberry crisp and homemade vanilla ice cream .

Going to do beer can chicken and husk on corn on the cob on the bbq and will have already made rice pilaf as the side

Our son is coming over for supper, so he'll come a bit early to help me make it! Pork chop suey over chow main noodles.

Finally finished the deep clean of the BBQ (wow was that work) so tonight we BBQ Steak, Potatoes and Mixed Marinated Veggies (Mushrooms, Peppers & Zucchini)

Sunday Newfie meal ..roast beef , roast pork , salt beef, pease pudding,carrots,cabbage, turnip,potatoes,made pastries done them in muffin pans ,dressing and gravy ..Diet Pepsi

dessert : home made blueberry pie ( tarts Newfie call them )and vanilla ice cream 🍨

it's the weekend,!! told the guys to name their poison for tonight's dinner but they were too bushed from work to think so I suggested Prime rib roast? They nodded.
Sides might just be a large Caesar salad, as it's too hot to have mashed spuds and cooked veg.
In fact they might even choose to make sammies with the beef?

My goodness gracious walkonby..please !!!! send some that hot weather to us guys on rock ..if this keeps up we will be wearing our long johns all summer long ..Gee !! Soon be June month and we got one hot day where capris and it was hot ..guess i jinks it and put shorts and flip flops on may 15th lol 😝
