My local Metro actually has very good quality meat so on Tuesday for Valentines I picked up beef short ribs and tried this recipe I have from a hawaiian restaraunt where you braise them for 2 1/2 hours in beef broth carrots, onions, ginger and tons of garlic, then drain off the juice and add thick teriyaki and whole grain mustard to the liquid, reduce and coat the ribs, broil till bubbly-well, OMG these were to die for so now hubby called me this am and asked if I could make them again tonight!!! Think this will become a staple for me, they were so tender, served with rice on Tuesday but I think I may do orzo tonight-sorry, I get carried away when it comes to food!

Pork chops (haven't decided how to make them yet), mashed potatoes, Caesar salad, assorted veggies to go with - probably stirfry mushrooms, broccoli, cauliflower, celery, and carrots.

Last night was free appie and entree at Kelseys! Chicken sonoma salad and spinach dip.
Then off to marble Slab to get a pint of ice cream made (cookie dough dizzle) and shared it with 3 people.. $2.40 for each person!

I kinda had to put my veggi aspirations on hold for about a month, due to having to spend $500 on something I wasn't expecting. So I bought crap at no frills to last me the next 4 weeks. I guess I'll be having pogos for dinner tonight..
(but secretly I really like them
