did DD's special portioned meals again for the upcoming week. ( 3 lbs lost so far! woot woot!)
She has 6 servings of broccoli soup, 6- 2 oz turkey burgers, 4 chicken stir fry meals, 4 brown rice pasta meals, 3 spiced up cod fillets with vermicelli, lots of " free " ( no calories ) fresh raw veggies and whatever else I whip up.
The guys have fettuccine/Alfredo sauce with baby peas, pan fried garlic shrimp and thin sliced red onions for Mon, breaded and stuffed chicken breasts with a pork fried rice for Tuesday.
Guess they aren't eating after Tuesday unless I get back in there! lol
Happy April Fool's day all!

don't wanna cook today, so maybe i will coerce hubby into getting some indian veggie thaali's.
we get 2 and then share with the kids. a filling dinner for the 4 of us for 15 bucks.
the bad part is that afterwards hubby gets sweets. he can't resist the fresh, made to order jalebi's.In 2020 I had 100 FREE Grocery pickups! Subscribe to PC Optimum Insiders & get 25,000 PC Optimum pts

There was a left over salmon fillet, so I made a salmon burger and shoved it in a pita with lettuce and caramelized onions!
I got two burgers out of that one fillet, so...lunch tomorrow! ) No photo, I'm not home.

they are usually orange in color, for some weird reason.
they are a crispy fried thing. it is piped directly into the oil in a concentric circle design, fried and then taken out and immersed in a sugar syrup.
it's incredibly sweet, and a little on the gross side haha. well, sort of gross to me!In 2020 I had 100 FREE Grocery pickups! Subscribe to PC Optimum Insiders & get 25,000 PC Optimum pts

I haven't decided 100% for tonight yet; I'm actually in here trolling for ideas, lol
The side dish is either steamed brussels sprouts or mashed turnip and the main is probably something with kidney beans as I have leftover cooked beans from my vegan shepherds pie which I made again last night at DH's request... so weird to get him asking for vegan food, but I certainly won't knock it
Maybe bean quesadillas? or maybe something with tuna? Decisions, Decisions!

Slowcooker adventure - my third time using it - without a net (no recipe)
On bottom, potato chunks, sliced celery, cut up tomatoes - Italian seasoning and garlic
On top, cut up pieces of pork loin, same seasoning as above, plus maybe 1/2 cup Italian dressing.
Put it on low - we'll see what happens!
