Last night, no one was very hungry as we had a late lunch, so mid-evening we had a Delissio Canadian pizza.

Sunday, baked porkchops with baby potatoes and carrots.
Monday, husband had those leftovers. For me and my son, I made sauteed ground pork with mushrooms and onions, with pasta shells and leftover rice noodles. He wants to take the leftovers for lunch the next few days (good for him!).

Tonight, making homemade pizza - yum!

Last night my friend and I gorged on 4lbs of home cooked mussels in wine and cream sauce, and about half a loaf of crusty bread with the leftover wine...it was amazing!

Tonight I'm thinking spaghetti with meat sauce and some garlic toast made with the leftover crusty bread. Mmmmm....

A version of Shepherd's Pie...lots of garden veggies mixed into the meat bottom then topped with mashed potatoes. I've topped it with TexMex shredded cheese and browned it for a few minutes. Looks good enough to eat!

Over the weekend we were soooo busy. I just threw some meals together for the week.
A very large pasta loaded with sauteed mushrooms, peppers and ground chicken.
Chicken thighs cooked up so tender so I made 3/4 of them in my homemade sticky BBQ sauce, and the rest in " trader sauce " !! What is trader sauce you ask?
Well we all love Swiss Chalet every now and then, but we hate that red grease they call sauce....until one day 1 of my DS said he kind of liked it, GASP! We all pointed and called him a trader! ( silly fun, passes the dinner time)
Sides of ginger/brown sugar carrots, Roasted taters, Gai Lan steamed. The work week has been tough so far. No energy at all.
