mmmm..sounds good...this cut of meat usually requires slow, long cooking to maximize tenderness so I use these mainly in the slow cooker for "pulled pork" and use it different ways (I have even used leftovers on nachos! lol) ..I have also cooked in the oven--I like to remove the rind (but still leave the fat for flavour!) and rub with spices and marinate in the fridge overnight and then slow roast the next day (makes an excellent gravy) and have i.e potatoes, carrots , or could roast with apples/peaches, etc...any leftovers from an oven roast I like to throw in a stir fry, etc....

Yesterday we had a special poor mans dinner, it was soup, bread and coffee 5.00 bucks "no dessert",This is how it works there are like 8 parishes in our zone so many ladies from each one made pots of soup then braught them to our center where the tables where set so there was like 16 differant pots of home made soup, the money went to missionaries. Tonight its Bacon and scrambled eggs.Last edited by bluerose; Mon, Mar 25th, 2013 at 05:22 PM.

No I didn't add anything to it just did the milk from the can and that was it since my mom told me it was fine and wouldn't bubble over if I did it that way because less liquid.
Mom guesses that it was just turning. Not enough for me to notice it when I had tea that morning, but enough that it didn't survive the oven and turned while cooking...It was brutal and now I can't even consider making it for awhile because I tasted it LOL!
Tonight I got home late and was too lazy to cook much so did some bacon and potato perogies and mixed veggies...now I'm starving again and going to get some white cheddar popcorn
