Supposed to be Hamburg Steak (my fav!) with mushrooms & onions but I think it'll just be a cup of soup and some cough medicine for me

For the ( it seems like ) umpeenth time I am going to " try " and make chicken Adobo
( filipino style). Mine never comes out as good as Barrio Fiesta restaurant, but this has never stopped me.
This time I found a recipe that uses coconut milk in the marinade. It is sitting in that now, update to follow.
Jeepers Natalka! I know you love your DH's schnitzel, but you know...be discreet

She sounds VERY friendly towards him when he gives her schnitzel! They seem like a close ...tight...family to me.

    • Ives veggie sausage
    • sweet potatoes
    • wild rice + kidney beans

    • fruit juice popsicles

If you think this is a wierd dinner combo, it's because they were all on sale/reduced.

Hehehe. At least it's all healthy.

I've tried to make chicken adobo, but only with the ready-made spice mix, it was ok. My Mom told me it's just garlic, soy sauce, vinegar, and black pepper, but mine never turns out like hers. Chicken adobo was my favourite dish from childhood .

I just think it's awesome that you go on this cooking blitz for the week - it's a great idea!
