Oh yeah the jars are great, The key is just to not fill them too much so they don't pop open when it freezes.Leave about 1/.2 inch from the top.

I use mason jars but you can use any plastic ones that don't crack when you freeze them too. I have klept some for a long time in the freezer and they are always good.
