I found recipes that said 8-9 hours on low will do the trick. When I have less time than that, I have done 3 hours on high and then about 2 to 3 hours on low. It will definitely be cooked, you could cut it and take a quick look inside.
Remember to keep the lid on the slow cooker as much as possible to keep the cooking temp stable. Stir only when necessary.

hi leda, the $10 promo card I got from Zellers was about 2 weeks ago and the card had to be used this week, expired today actually. i can't even recall the details of how i got it now...so many promos. maybe they'll run another before the stores start to close.
